Felicidad — Restaurant in Mexico City

Came to try their breakfast options. The staff was very attentive, they immediately sat us down and took our drink orders. We started with the almond croissant. It was flaky, warm, and was filled with almond butter. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and boasted with flavor. I ordered the Huevos Suizos and the green sauce was tangy, creamy, and had a mild spice to it. The eggs sat on top of a slice of ham and was melted cheese and sour cream. Overall the dish was a 8/10. We also ordered the smoked salmon toast that came with a spicy peanut oil salsa. A toasty slice of wheat bread topped with pureed cottage cheese and rolled salmon. We came here the first time on our first morning ever in Mexico, and now we come back every time we come to Mexico City. Usually I have gotten the nopal with arrachera and it's always so good. We get coffee and juices or smoothies, too: always delicious. For lunch today, I got the roast beef sandwich and it was honestly excellent (and way more food that I could eat in one sitting. The gravy was great. My husband has had the enchiladas, chilaquiles, milanesa, all good choices. Hopefully we can keep coming back on our visits in the future! If you like sugar in everything then you might enjoy .. I ordered a Greek salad which came with sweetened yoghurt ( no feta cheese which is what’s normal on a Greek salad ) .. and a sickly sweet fruity dressing , again not ‘Greek’ .. no olives and no red onion ….nit really anything resembling a Greek salad … also the hollandaise sauce on my partner’s dish was very sweet also … very ordinary food .
