I only ate half my food and still got sick.
This is genuinely worthy of a 1 star review. Last night I ordered from this particular restaurant expecting to consume the food. Sadly, they did not have the same expectation.
Upon opening I noticed that the burger, aside from being cold, was wet with grease and oil. All the more surprising to me was that they hadn't decided that I should watch my waste size and omitted the cheese from my burger.
The fact that there was no cheese opened my burger to further investigation. The meat itself was falling apart and somewhat anaemic.
The fries, wow. Cooked but not fried, falling apart, and, of course, as greasy as the other components.
Surely they got the drink right? Well, the good news is that I did not give them the opportunity to further showcase their ineptitude, as I did not order one.
Upon being contacted through Rappi, Hooters explained that it did not meet the criteria for a refund.
So, the list of things not in the criteria for a refund are: cold causing illness not putting the right ingredients in the food delivering poor quality food
I would love to know what they actually think is worthy of a refund.
My recommendation is to stay away. They are located near Reforma, so maybe they have a lot of passing tourist trade and therefore let their standards drop because they are only going to visit once, I don't know.
Here is a list of just some of better restaurants that serve this style of food in the area: Porco Rosso The Place Shake Shack McDonald's (I am actually being serious; better quality, much cheaper and, no...
Read moreHooters isn't really a great place to watch sports, it's not even a great place to eat...but once in a blue moon it's okay. Despite their expensive prices ($9.50 for a big mug...you can get one at Buffalo Wild Wings at half that price AND better food and service). Several waitresses seem bored or grumpy at this Hooters, always making time for their gossip with other coworkers in some corner leaving customers licking their empty plates and glasses because there's no service for 15-20 minutes at a time. Hooters is dead in the US because of just that, so glad Twin Peaks even Ojos Locos are beginning to emerge there instead...waaaaay better service and the ladies actually like being there. It's still kind of a new concept in Mexico (the "breastaraunt" idea) and amazed to see more popping up in Mexico City. All in all, it's always my dead last resort to watching my game and actually enjoy being there. Also, my glass smelled nasty, had to ask for another. The layout of this Hooters is laughable, many huge columns making the bar area almost hidden. Typical lazy Hooter staff service. One last thing... Mexico is not shy at telling you they ran out of stuff. Hooters is very happy to say you can't have a certain menu item when that's all you wanted....
Read moreI got ripped off. I've been to many Hooters around Mexico and the United States. I've always ordered wings, and they have never given less than what was paid for. I ordered 20 wings, 4 sauces, and celery. Like always, they charge for the sauces and celery. The problem is that when bringing home the order, we were only given 16 wings, 2 sauces, and celery. When we called to let them know so they could correct the order, they said they only gave 16 wings based on the weight. I know it was only 16 because there were four of us, so i divided the wings to have 5 each, but it was only 4 each. We have never been told this. They just wanted to rip us off, thinking we wouldn't notice or complain. Worst Hooters experience I've had. The wings were not good, and the blue cheese was mayonnaise without the blue cheese taste. I marked service 1 only because the person on the phone didn't try to make...
