King Cole Bar — Restaurant in Mexico City

After a long day of museum hopping, we wanted to finish off the night w a few drinks and hopped into King Cole Bar inside the St. Regis. Off the bat, we were pleasantly surprised at the overall excellent vibe. Issac our bartender was not only excellent at making the best drinks ever, but also very courteous and professional. We are getting a strong sense that people in this city take their professions very seriously. The bar is immaculate, as with the rest of the hotel. If there was one thing to note that the lighting inside here and the hotel overall is very bright everywhere. A bit of mood lighting won't hurt, especially in a beautiful place like this. With our drinks we had their burger and it was DIVINE. Best burger to date! We finished off the night with their espresso...

There are so many awesome bars and restaurants in Mexico City, please do not waste your time here. It's tacky and soulless, which is so avoidable in Mexico City. We each had a cocktail which was honestly the worst most tasteless cocktail I've had in a long time. Then, just to top the experience off - our server added $20 more in tip than I wrote down, and presumably was hoping I wouldn't notice, and when I did he was really annoyed tht I was bothering him to change it- it's obviously a trick he pulls and gets away with frequently. Please don't waste...

This place was absolutely enchanting! The food and service were nothing short of extraordinary, with every bite and moment feeling like pure magic. The chef went above and beyond, crafting a special dish just for us—something not even on the menu! To top it off, the atmosphere was elevated by captivating live music, and the view? Simply breathtaking, as if plucked from a dream. Without a doubt, we’ll be coming back for more of this...
