La BTK Polanco — Restaurant in Mexico City

If you are a tourist my first recommendation is to do yourself a huge favor and STAY FAR AWAY from this place! 2. If you are a local then you shouldn’t even be considering this place at all as a suitable option to eat, yikes if you do!

Our experience was deplorable and subpar period!

We ordered our drinks and an appetizer to start off with and the server took over 30 minutes just to bring the drinks to our table and then forgot to provide the coke cans with drinking glasses and an extra lemonade as we had requested earlier and then he literally proceeded to ignore us for a very long time despite our efforts to catch his attention, we then noticed the tables around us that arrived about 40 -45 minutes after us had their food brought to them while we continued to be ignored and while we still waited for drinking glasses and our extra lemonade.

We finally asked the server to please explain what was going on and he told us not to complain and that there other tables just like us waiting on their food to which we politely explained that all those tables arrived 45 minutes after us as the place was empty when we arrived the server became very rude towards us and rebutted our complaint so we decided to ask him to please cancel the rest of the order that had yet to come out and we would just pay for the appetizer and drinks that we had yet to drink and asked for our check, the server became rude again walked off and left and about 10 -15 minutes later a manager came over and literally threw the check on the table yep I am not kidding he literally threw it on the table and stood there waiting for us to pay without saying a word with the rudest mannerisms. We payed our tab with cash and walked out. We were so disgusted by this place we didn’t even wait for our change.

As for the food quality the cheese sticks were flavorless and clearly frozen quality.

If you want a good experience in Polanco this place is not it!!! Quite shocked that a place like that operates in Polanco to be honest. What a sham! That place shouldn’t be operating with the staff it currently has they need to...

I would suggest you stay AWAY from this place. MY EXPERIENCE: first thing I ordered were drinks for everyone 2 beers and a 2 soft drinks for my kids. the server quickly replied " you must consume food as well if you are going to order alcoholic drinks" I thought that was kind of weird but I said ok, no problem my kids are going to order food for sure. I wanted to drink a couple of beers it was a hot thursday afternoon. (mind you the beer prices were not cheap either nor did they had a promotion 2x1 or something like that....I was paying full price 5 bucks per beer with michelada mix.) so server took the order food and drinks (food for my kids, they can eat 15 n 18 year old) 15 minutes later he came back back with NO DRINKS on hand, and he ask ME again what would you like to order to EAT?? it was almost as he was twisting my hand to order food before I get a drink. my initial plan from the start was to have a few beers and then eat but now I feel force to buy food. I told him I was not ready to order and that I need it my drink so he finally went and got drinks for everyone. I should had walk out at that point but felt bad for my kids as this is their type of food joint. (wings and burgers) the food was OK? not impressed but it was not horrible. over condiment, salty, cheaply made American food. THE WORSE : as we had drank and men and the wife had started eating, I noticed the MANAGER passed by and glanced at our table I am guessing to check if we had finally order food??? not sure but that made me feel HUMILIATED as if I had begged for food and drink and not pay for it. as for my self and my family, we will NOT be going back, and I will make sure to let FAMILY and FRIENDS in CDMX not to got there that place and the...

Miércoles 26 de diciembre. Muy mal servicio, tardamos mucho en poder ordenar porque ningún mesero se nos acercaba, pedimos nuestra orden y tardaron mucho en traernos nuestra primera ronda de alitas, además de que el servicio era muy lento las alitas que nos llegaron, nos llegaron frías, en la mesa de al lado, una señora incluso devolvió sus alitas porque estaban muy frías, ella también estaba muy molesta del servicio recibido. Además, pedimos nuestra cerveza de barril, tarro de 450 ml hoy miércoles está en promoción 2x1, recibimos nuestro primer tarro al poco tiempo de pedirlo, pero cuando pedimos nuestro siguiente tarro pasó más de media hora, sin exagerar, y de verdad no nos los trajeron nunca, pregunté a otro mesero por nuestras cervezas y me dijo "déjame checar" pero nuestras cervezas nunca llegaron. Fue tal nuestro disgusto y la tardanza en la que te traían tu comida (porque pedimos alitas con anticipación sabiendo que el servicio estaba lento y aún así tardaron 20 minutos en traernos 10 alitas más) que decidimos retirarnos y pedir la cuenta, al darnos nuestra cuenta les comenté a 2 meseros que no me habían traído mi promoción de cerveza y que tardó más de media hora y nunca llegó, a lo que uno de ellos con mala actitud me respondió "pues te lo traigo ahorita". Nosotros molestos, evidentemente, le dijimos que ya no, que ya nos íbamos y que se habían tardado mucho. Ya no dijeron nada pero de verdad, hay meseros ahí como el que nos atendió, que tienen muy mala actitud de servicio y unas alitas, literalmente frías, ni siquiera tibias, FRÍAS, es algo que desde mi punto de vista me parece inaceptable para esta cadena de comida. En conclusión el servicio aquí es malo, tardan en atenderte, tienen mala actitud y algunas alitas las sirven frías. No lo recomiendo para nada, si tienen una sucursal más cercana o de confianza quizás sea mejor. Por otro lado, el servicio en la BTK de Santa Mónica no se compara con el de Polanco, allá en Santa Mónica es...
