I highly recommend stopping by La Fontana if you’re staying at the hotel, or just in the neighborhood. I had two delicious dinners here during my stay and enjoyed my experience greatly. All the staff were still wearing masks (April 2023), were very welcoming, and had decent English skills for those who aren’t fluent in Spanish. For lunch and dinner, this is an Italian based restaurant with some other non-Italian options like some Mexican dishes and simple things like hamburgers. I had the penne alla bolognese, and it was so good! I loved it! The sauce had a really good flavor to it and was very meaty. Food came out quickly and nice and hot. For breakfast, this is the main buffet for the hotel, and it’s great. Lots of options from local Mexican dishes to foods for international visitors like pancakes, cereal, and pastries. Overall, I really liked this place and will be back next time I’m in town for work. Great for solo travelers/dining.

We had a fabulous late supper last night. Jose Luis took such great care of us. We tried a couple of pizzas, the eggplant Parmesan and the pomodoro and burrata. The tomato in the pomodoro was partially cooked and peeled, then chilled. The burrata was tender. The sauces gave us the flavors of basil and Basalmic. It was delicious! The eggplant Parmesan was well prepared and beautifully presented with a crown of delicious tomato sauce. The four cheese pizza and the pizza al diablo lived up to their names. They were outstanding.

The food we ordered was horrible. The lasagna was days and days old. It was like a dried out brick. The 5 waiters and staff yout stood around talking and forgetting we existed for hours Even though we were only 2 people in the entire restaurant. I hope this doesn't hurt the 5 star hotel this is in. When we check out in a few days, I'm gonna demand I get refunded, or I will cancel with my cc

I'm here with a tour group so most my food is pre-order. Always delicious. Great plate presentation. Attentive wait staff. The breakfast buffet is a wonder to behold. Healthy choices like yogurts and fruits. Standard choices such as huevos rancheros, sausage, bacon, etc. A wonderful pastry selection. You can custom order omelettes and other dishes from a walk up counter. The restaurant interior is nice linen covered tables, silverware, chinaware. Classy to a fault. This is a 5 star hotel and La Fontana is...
