Maison Kayser — Restaurant in Mexico City

This place was close to ours; within walking distance. The service was good although he did take too long to ask for our food after our drinks arrived (like 15 to 20 mins). Other than that, the waiter was attentive and even was there to offer us plenty of napkins when we spilled a drink. Once the food arrived, I was in love with the eggs benedict. To be honest, one of the better ones I have had in DF, next runner-up would probably be Maison Belen. However, the red chilaquiles were not as good as I expected since they were too bitter for my taste (I know people that love it like that so it probably is just preference). Our crew had the Eggs Benedict with Salmon, Huevos Rancheros (served in a cast-iron skillet) and Huevos Españoles with Prosciutto (in skillet), which were all very tasty. The coffee was quite good. With 2 intersecting walls of glass, this European (French-German) inspired café has both indoor and outdoor seating, and banquet bench along the wall for added cushioned comfort for some tables. I always come to buy their sesame baguette and this time I came to sit inside the restaurant for breakfast.

The space is very clean and spacious. Strong wifi which I used to study on my laptop. (There is power outlet under the tables by the windows)

It was packed by 11:00am on a Friday and was glad I got a seat beforehand.
