Peralta — Restaurant in Mexico City

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT EVER COME HERE. Save your time and money, SERIOUSLY.

I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was honestly one of the worst I’ve had in a while. After ordering a drink (VERY simple drink at that, a vodka soda), I was asked by four different servers what I had ordered, each of them assuring me that it was “on the way.” Yet, 35 minutes passed and the drink never arrived. The server asked “who took your order?” …. HE was the one who took the order….. I was in disbelief.

The worst part? Instead of addressing the mistake, they then tried to take us upstairs to the nightclub, as if we were supposed to forget about the terrible service we had just experienced. To top it all off, they still expected us to pay for the cover charge despite the poor service, unfulfilled order, and overall disappointing experience. We had made the assumption they were going to “take care of us.” The manager said he would personally walk us upstairs then ended up getting escorted by a server. Not sure at all why they did that were there was NO LINE AT ALL FOR THE CLUB???? Why do I need you to walk me there for ????? There was quite literally not a soul in line.

I get that mistakes happen, but this level of negligence and lack of accountability is unacceptable. When we confronted the manager and asked hey are we supposed to pay, he proceeded to say “well yeah”….. why would I give you any more of my money after such a terrible experience.

The first sign of demise was the manager literally smacking a woman’s butt and touching all up on her and trying to kiss her. I’m hoping they knew each other because it was WEIRD. VERY unprofessional.

We had been drawn in by the music they were playing, BIG MISTAKE. They play 2 decent songs followed by 10 terrible songs that are a completely different vibe????? If people are coming in because of the music why would you switch it up?????????

I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for good service or a pleasant dining/bar experience.

Pro tip: GO AROUND THE CORNER TO LA SANTI!!!!!!! Literally steps away and vibes...

Peralta has a night club that operates upstairs called “Pheonix”. Went and ordered 6 bottles with 2 tables and a party of 8 people. Everything was going fine till the security decides to kick out my buddy who was not drunk or causing any disturbance, by pushing him down the stairs… yes literally pushing him down the stairs, causing him to roll down. Not only that security proceeds to kick him and punch him once on the floor for no reason. Do not recommend if you’re a foreigner or even a local. Friend ended up in the ER and “nightclub” did not want to become...

OK prices for the area, really long wait for service. Drinks are good, the food is also good but you will have to wait a long long time for service. From the time we asked for 3 drinks to the 3 drinks being in our table a good 10 to 15 minutes passed. From the time we asked for the check to actually being charged another 20...
