I found this place on many guides as one of the best cafes for working and I fundamentally disagree with them.

It's very loud, and not only due to the large atrium that causes a fair amount of echo, but on top of that, they are playing music too loud and from a phone that keeps getting other notifications that are blasted into the main speakers.

Yes, all the tables have electricity plugs and I like that it is a place that doesn't pressure you to order food or many things and the tea/coffee selection is nice but it's just not very cozy for a cafe. This is why I rated it 3/5 stars because my rating as a work-cafe would be lower than that.

This is the second chance I gave this place and it was better than the first time, when I ended up leaving and going to the Starbucks across the street, but I don't think I'm going to return. On top of everything, there's an escape room business or something next door that has a very loud countdown sound every 3 minutes that you can hear one block away.

(This might sound like I'm crazy about sounds and for the record, I'm very used to the noise of cafes, I like that about them, but this place is...

First, I will say the place is light and beautiful. Its only saving grace.

I gave the manager a translated note (into Spanish) that my meal was the worst I had had in Mexico in 2 years. At $9.50 US it was an expensive travesty.

My pork belly (Buddha Bowl), seen in attached photo, was either charcoaled into oblivion or was so dry and shriveled it was not recognizable. I did eat some as I was extremely hungry, but the bowl in the photo is what I left. Who on earth would give patrons food in such a condition?

The cashier added to the ordeal with her very sour attitude. She told us how much to pay (it seemed too high) yet at first refused to show us a receipt. We asked for a printed receipt and sure enough there was an extra coffee added.

Coffee was weak and unremarkable.

I did get my money back from the manager. But really, it was one of the worst dining experiences I have had, anywhere,...

Fantastic! Excellent menu and coffee. The avocado toast used some of the most delicious sourdough bread i’ve ever had!! I also got a matcha latte. They have vegan milk alternatives including oat milk.

Very kind staff who were patient with me with my little bit of spanish that i’m learning (but a few people also spoke english).

A lot of seating at either the coffee bar, private tables, or communal tables. There was a good breeze going through so a very comfortable setting. Popular spot to bring your laptop and work out of. Good wifi. Pets are welcome!

By the time we arrive at about noon-12:30 there was minimal available seating other than at the bar so keep that in mind for peak hours.

Seemed to also be a walk up window for coffees on the go!

Absolutely love the location. Very enjoyable to walk around and on a relatively...
