Porco Rosso — Restaurant in Mexico City

This is the second time I eat at this restaurant chain. Love the ambiance, service is great. The Tennessean ribs were very good. The meat was very moist. But I could have done wo the mayo sauce on top. They said it was a white bbq. The fries were a little under cooked. The mac n cheese was horrible. Thought I was eating Mac n cheese from krafts foods box. Yuck!!! They need to invest on a home made recipe. Willing to give them my recipe. But overall it’s not bad but the sides definitely need lots of improvement of they want to call themselves Kansas City style bbq. Ok I have to revise my review regarding the service. It took the waiter forever to come to my table when I signaled for someone to help me. He looked at me like I was interrupting his conversation with the other staff. I was charged 50 cents usd for a box for my leftovers. That’s insane. Bad customer service. Let’s see how long it takes for them to bring the CC terminal to charge my...

I was not convinced...may be came a bad day however I did not find the food very tasty and was too greasy all ingredients of food that will not help your healthy diet so for me it was a bad idea to have eaten there..but I may understand that people like this kind of food unfortunately I was sick in the evening..was really a bad day.The staff were very pleasant and quick to serve you. Limited options for drinks because there was no margarita or cocktails drinks...good option for the beers and wine because they can serve you big 3 or 4 liters bottles for 30 dollars...the surrounding is a very nice place and the restaurant is made of containers pieces and wood in open air area..livery good idea...

Last minute choice, didn’t disappoint us. They were going to close in one hour but they attended us with a friendly service. We ordered a mixed barbecue plate and some French fries with 4 cheeses on plus two lemon iced tea. All was delicious and well cooked. We asked for a doggy bag because yes, it’s 1000gr of meat and we couldn’t finish everything but they packed and give it to us. It’s the original one. This was the first one to open and then all the others in La Condesa, Polanco... It’s made by recycled truck’s containers who were rebuilt and now work as kitchens. The tables are benches made in wood. Great place for family, couples...
