We stopped by Mandolina Roma for breakfast and were instantly taken by the beautiful, laid-back vibe—airy, stylish, and perfect for a slow morning in the city.

Our server, Mauricio, was a total star. Super friendly, attentive, and gave the kind of service that makes you want to become a regular. Halfway through chatting, we learned he has a pretty unexpected side hustle (let’s just say he knows how to put on a show in and out of the restaurant).

The food was fresh and flavorful—everything from the coffee to the pastries felt thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere made it easy to linger and enjoy the moment.

Scam: the menu says “first mimosa is on us” - it should say two for one because many people thought it meant a welcome drink. We didn’t mind that but then some people ordered mimosas and were suggested other drinks which turned out not to be two for one. I ordered the molettes and they were honestly bland, tasteless and hard and I didn’t finish them. The waiter tried to overcharge about three people at our table when we paid by card by choosing the highest tip percentage regardless of what the person said they wanted to tip. Only the decor is beautiful otherwise an unpleasant experience that seems driven by making you spend more vs delivering a memorable and quality experience.
