Porco Rosso — Restaurant in Mexico City

For starters, I ate the Brisket Tacos - which were great - fresh ingredients with a complex flavor, and the brisket meat was top notch. The locally made hot sauces were a great pairing. For mains, I chose the Angus Burger, which was disappointing. The burger patty was small and dry, with very little taste. Didn't taste fresh and not grilled/charbroiled. Not what I expected from photos, price and previous reviews. It was served with a slab of ham on top, instead of Bacon - unlike how it's described on the menu. Fries were just average, and the serving size was small. The atmosphere was just okay. Nice tables and decorations, but as is common in Mexico City - you get servers/managers standing around chatting at the bar with nothing to do when it's not busy, which makes it feel like a social club for staff, rather than the guests. Good food as always. This particular Porco Rosso is quite small, but nice. I tried the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious, especially the bread! I wish they had different barbecue sauces like in North Carolina, but maybe Kansas style doesn’t have many. I also ordered a beer but it wasn’t that great (I think it was Cucapá ambar) and it was expensive ($80 MXN). The service was nice and fast. I recommend it even though it’s not the best bbq I’ve tried. This place can be expensive, so watch out for the prices. I think the pulled pork is the best deal because it’s yummy and not that expensive...

Avoid to eat here. I will never stop by this restuarant never in my life. The place is nice but as all the new restaurants in Mexico nowadays the food it's not tasty at all and super expensive if you are a person who cook for yourself you know what I'm talking about (I mean this place is for people who doesn't know about food and waste money)...AVOID this restuarant. I ate some baby back with my sister, they were miserables really, no taste, all burned, and the menu says full of meat not bones, well were totally opposite. All the side dishes has an extra price...prices that it's a joke bcuz are...
