Mariscos Juan — Restaurant in Mexico City

This is my second visit to Mariscos Juan. I was last here three years ago. The food and especially the service were outstanding then. I returned today and had the same experience--exquisite seafood and amazing service. In fact, one of the servers from today is the same one I met three years ago. What I remembered from three years ago is that I was treated as if I were in their home. The attention and concern about the customer's experience are genuine. Delicious fresh ceviche and tostados! This place is small but it's worth waiting if the tables are full. Juan and his staff are friendly and were spot on with their dish recommendations. I especially enjoyed the 'Ceviche Iron Juan' and 'Tostados Don Juan'. Stop in because I saw the high rating, unfortunately the food was not good. Ordered the fish fillet(tilapia) which tasted very bland, also tried the octopus which was extremely chewy.
