Update tldr; Food is good, service is terrible. Avoid.
We gave then another chance, but wish we hadn't. The food is pretty good, but the service is terrible. There are lots of staff members, but they appear to be terribly managed. We're pretty sure they recognized us from before, since they kept pointing at us from across the restaurant all night, which of course made us extremely uncomfortable. You'd think they would have offered better service.
When ordering our appetizers, we asked the waiter to come back in 2 minutes to give us more time to decide what entrees we wanted. He never came back to take the order, so we had to stop another waiter passing by. We asked for a bottle of water that never arrived. The bathroom was broken and couldn't be used. The lights in the restaurant kept going off for a few minutes, and back on. At the end of the meal, after we'd finished half of the desert, they offered us a free second dessert (apparently they could tell they were giving us bad service). This was pretty insulting in itself. What were we going to do with a second dessert, when we didn't even finish the first one? If they wanted to make a nice gesture, a good manager would have offered the dessert we ordered on the house, which would have cost them next to nothing.
Tried to eat there but was turned away. They claimed it was their opening night and so they were having a private...
Read moreOrdered Grilled King Prawn ( which is one of the most expensive dishes on the menu). The prawns weren't fresh, it didn't taste fresh; meat fell apart into tiny pieces which stuck on the shell, because protein has broken down, another sign of it not being fresh. We raised this to the restaurant. The chef and maybe also the manager tried the prawns and insisted there is nothing wrong with it. We didn't want to make a fuss, paid the bills without a tip. Guess what, two of us had stomach pain and spent a lot of time in the loo after this dinner.
Completely unprofessional, the chef and restaurant. If we can tell this is not fresh, the chef who orders the seafood in should definitely know they are not fresh. Extremely dangerous behaviour for a restaurant, this could seriously make someone ill.
I have been to this restaurant only a couple of times. What I observe from my very limited experience is that the cheaper dishes are fresher than the more expensive dishes. For example, the most expensive cut of steak didn't quite taste that good, but a cheaper cut had more of a wow factor. My advice would be, don't order expensive dishes here, maybe because of low customer flow in more expensive dishes, the meat/seafood is...
Read moreWe came here for a bachelor party dinner. Sunday night 8pm. We had a group of 18 people. It was pretty empty. They completely messed up every single appetizer and main course. I have literally no idea how they could mess up 18/18 dishes.
Of course there would be a minor language barrier but we truly believe that wasn’t the cause of all the problems.
Examples would be people ordering steaks and either received completely blue rare or super well done.
One person got the flank steak and it was precut to 4 different pieces and each piece of the steak was cooked to a different temperature.
4/18 people received their entree 20 minutes after the rest.
Appetizers were completely missed or completely different appetizers.
The worst is they tried to upcharge us on some of the steaks. There are shareable options for steaks. And for some reason even though everyone was ordering single entrees for themselves they decided to give one of us the 4 man shareable steak (also the most expensive item on the menu)
Picture is somehow getting different entrees even though they ordered...
