CDMX Eats 2024 #51, French #1, Brunch #4: We were debating between eating here and Malcriado. We ordered a jugo verde $55, jugo toronja jamaica; Yunji got the rösti salmon gravlax caviar bottarga $230, and I got the huevos benedictinos $190.

The good: the place is gorgeous, the menu has a lot of fun options, and the food looks beautiful.

The bad: prices are a little elevated for the portion size, coffee prices are a bit high; my food wasn't warm.

The ugly: when I cut into my second poached egg, it ran like water (including the egg white).

Service was very sparse and slow considering how few diners were present.

I'd potentially return but am in zero rush.

Other brunch places I recommend: Mendl (Hipódromo), Elora at Hotel Volga (Juarez), Dave's Home...

Superette is … supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Delicious breakfast, by far one of the best I’ve had in the city.

Excellent service. I knew the waitress spoke English, although she was trying to hide it but I eventually got it out of her. She was outstanding.

This is quite an interesting place because along with breakfast, which was ordered (Salmon, aguacate crepe 200-pesto eggs on toast - 140 and large fruit bowl with granola- 130 all delicious) there is other Comida.

By far what takes up most of the menu is the gigantic list of ciders (pages)mostly from France. Select the bottle of wines, also mostly from France. Guess where the owner is from…yep France 🇫🇷

Next time cider from France. That’s all for...

My better half and I came here for a late breakfast. Service was good. Food was great. Options were plentiful. I had the yogurt, fruit and granola bowl... which was delicious. My husband had the Galette complète. Both dishes were great. We also opted for three mini pastries... all of which were very good. (The smaller chocolate pastry was by far the best, in my opinion.) Lastly, I had a café americano (a bit strong) and my husband had a latte, which he loved. All in all... we recommend stopping in for sure!
