Tacanon — Restaurant in Mexico City

My boyfriend And I were at the Mexico City airport looking for a place to eat and found this gem tucked to the side away from the main food court. There are other taco booths but this place had the most people sitting at their counter as well as people waiting to sit down. We decided to wait and so glad we did. They have a variety items in their menu and we went with the carne asada tacos. The service was great and the food came out fast. The tacos were absolutely delicious it did not need any additional sauces just lime and we like avocados in our tacos so I asked for that to be added but it would be just as good without it! Their tortas are very popular as well. You get great food for a great price, we had 8 tacos and 1 soda and it came out to $17 US dollars. Don’t waste your time here. The ladies working here are super rude and they if you don’t pay attention to your money they will rob you just cause your not from here. My total was 295 pesos. I paid with a 500 bill she gave me back 5pesos and proceeded to tell me I had already grabbed the 200 peso bill she owed me or it fell on the floor. I don’t think so thieves! We missed a flight so we walked around the airport to find a place to eat dinner. We ended up getting a sopa which was perfectly balanced with flavor. The sopa was so delicious! You must try it.
