Tori Tori Izakaya Condesa — Restaurant in Mexico City

My husband and I have been stuffing our faces with tacos all over Mexico City for one week straight and needed a break. We had some great Mezcal cocktails across the way at Baltra Bar and landed here afterwards and couldn’t be happier. Anyone who can’t recognize the freshness presented here is a fool. Probably some of the BEST spicy tuna hand rolls and pork gyozas we’ve ever had. The house ramen was also solid. To top it all off, service was ON POINT. You’ll have better dinner grazing on cacahuetes from the ground in the Chapultepec park. They’re fresher and less salty than the octopus “sashimi” at Tori Tori. Also they don’t get forgotten by the waiter.

Three waiters just stand in the door, staring at our kid chit chatting instead of asking if we need a baby chair.

Cheap soy sauce, stinky onion in almost every hot dish, cheap rice and expensive bill.
