I was there around 6:45, order two maki rolls before 7, the restaurant isn’t busy, I didn’t get my food until 730…. Seriously half an hour for two rolls… imagine if its busy, I asked for wasabi, wait another 5 min, pouring soy sauce and find out those are not soy sauce and wait for another min or 2 for it…. Service isn’t good here. If only you have time to wait, be my guest but I won’t return. About the food, not surprise all rolls with Philly cheese, but the eel on top was hard like overcook bacon. This was a disappointment, not even worth a 3 stars

ENGLISH Roji Urban Sushi – The Coolest Retro-Asian Spot in Morelia Roji Urban Sushi brings a fresh and creative concept to Morelia, combining a retro Asian vibe with a cozy and modern atmosphere that makes it one of the city's most unique and enjoyable places. Their sushi and maki rolls are seriously next-level — you can tell the ingredients and flavors are carefully crafted. It offers great quality at a fair price, and the drinks and side dishes elevate the whole dining experience. The aesthetic of the place is simply beautiful — like stepping into a stylish Tokyo alleyway with vintage flair. It’s definitely one of my favorite spots in the city. And if you go, you have to try the Kurobei — trust me, you won’t regret it.

My friends and I were seated at around 7:14pm and the restaurant was set to close at 8pm, but when the staff seated us anyway we thought the kitchen was fine with this. The waiter took our orders for drinks and a couple of minutes later he came back to take our orders for food. At 7:27pm the waiter told us the rice wouldn’t be ready for another 30-40 minutes. We told him we were okay with that. At 7:50 pm the waiter came back to tell us that it would actually be another hour before the rice was ready. We said that we couldn’t wait that long, and the waiter apologized and said we wouldn’t be charged for anything. We never got our drinks so there wasn’t anything to pay for. We realized the staff lied to us the entire time. They didn’t serve us our drinks because they knew they weren’t going to serve us our food from the very beginning. They intentionally wasted our time. If they knew they wanted to close their kitchen they should’ve been honest with us instead of lying. Terrible...

The restaurant staff here lied to us and wasted our time. Came here with some friends for dinner an hour before closing. The staff still got us a table. The waiter took our food and beverage orders. After waiting a couple of minutes the waiter told us it would be another 30-40 minutes of waiting until the rice would be ready. We decided to wait. He came back at 7:50pm and told us it would be another hour. We decided to go somewhere else and the waiter apologized and said we wouldn’t be charged for anything. That’s when we realized the restaurant staff lied to us. They never got us our drinks because they knew from the beginning they were not going to serve us food at all. If they wanted to close the kitchen early they should’ve told us the truth instead of lying to us and making us wait for almost an hour for food and drinks. Very disrespectful. The waiter had the audacity to apologize to us as if they didn’t intentionally...
