Stumbled up to this rooftop to get some remote work done during a warm afternoon. The rooftop is lovely with lots of greenery, birds flying in and out, and a lovely view of the mountains. I sat inside under the shade near the kitchen and bar. The service was absolutely impeccable, my drinks and food came quickly, they checked on me as appropriate, and we’re happy to translate and explain the menu. They have lovely natural wines that are local, as well as an extensive cocktail, tea, coffee, Mezcal, and even a Oaxacan chocolate menu. I had two glasses of the natural white wine as well as a tostada with cauliflower ceviche utilizing local ingredients, such as Aztec broccoli and multiple chilies. They have quite a large menu for being a casual rooftop bar with everything from vegan to pork on the menu. I will definitely come back to try more dishes. I ended up enjoying my table until after sunset. I appreciate that they do not allow laptop use after 4 PM to keep the space quiet and relaxing and focused on the moment. I saw people playing cards and enjoying drinks for many hours. I would definitely recommend this rooftop bar in Central Oaxaca. The prices were reasonable, but definitely on the higher side for Mexico with cocktails being around eight to $10 US and the food between four and $10 US. In my opinion, the quality was well worth it for...

I found this place doing some research online. Caught my eye with the atmosphere, which is lovely, pretty place in every single spot or where you look at.

The first thing I ordered was coffee, it took a bit long to get to the table and they ended up delivering it to a table that got there after me so I had to continue waiting. I then took out my laptop to entertain myself a bit. Two of the servers came up to me to tell me that I would have to put it down or leave in an hr, because you cannot have work there after 4:00 pm (oh, coffee was delish btw).

After I told them that I took my laptop out because they took too long to serve me and that I wasn’t even going to last there too long (specially if they serve me quickly), they changed their attitude. A guy approached me and apologize saying that he was sorry about the confusion but it was shirt switch and the servers just wanted to go home.

We ended up ordering 3 lattes, guacamole, hummus, their citrus and raspberry velvet sodas; schorle juice and rib tacos. Everything was good in flavors.

The server ended up taking out of the bill one of the lattes to apologize again for the bad service at...

Gem of a place to surround yourself with green beauty in a calm and peaceful athmosphere. Amazing Urban Jungle vibes with hundreds of plants and a beautiful, sunny, open terrace. Many seating options outside and inside, sunny and in the shade.

Fast internet, so great to spend an hour to work or like me plan your next stop of the trip.

Coffee and food arrived quickly and was good (not outstanding but I loved that my eggs came with many mushrooms and not just a few plus bread was great!). Menu does not offer too many exciting choices though (food variety in Muss Café downstairs is better). But the atmosphere makes it all up. Lovely place. Would definitely recommend a visit and come again.

Very friendly and attentative service ♡

Just a hint: This Café is on the second floor above and is NOT the Muss...

This place is amazing! It’s located upstairs in the hotel and nicely tucked away. There are amazing plants everywhere so it’s nice and green! Beautiful view of the city also! Everything we ate was amazing. We had the egg pesto sandwich, BLT, molletes, oatmeal bowl and fruit and granola bowl. All ingredients were locally sourced and you could taste the difference. the moka latte didn’t blow me away. I had to ask for another shot as it tasted weak. A bit too chalky for my taste. Orange juice is freshly squeezed and tasted amazing! I don’t remember who was who but those who helped us were Sam, Tamara, Mati, José and Mar. All were very helpful and explained the menu and ingredients well. This place is a must try for a light breakfast!
