To be fair I really like this place for good food and beer BUT on two separate occasions have received service that leaves a lot to be desired. One time upon commenting on a drink (Aperol spritz, was super sweet which we thougt was weird cause it is not normally a sweet drink) the staff did not really meet our expectations on how to handle the situation. We are not people to waste a drink/alcohol :) but no one of our table even wanted to enjoy it. Upon asking them to change it the solution of the staff was to bring us an opened half empty bottle of mineral water so we could fix it ourselves. This was after we asked them to try it to see what they thought (they said they could not since covid but they could sen US an open half empty bottle to serve into the drink). Clearly there was no sense of damage control. Moreover we asked for the manager many times, he never wanted to see us and kept sending different waiters to our table. The service is really good, they're very attentive and the flavor is amazing, don't worry for the food or the service because the owners are attentive too. The atmosphere is appropriate for pairs, and friends or groups, work reunions and is perfect if you just want to drink a beer and smoke a cigarette see to Santo Domingo church or if you want to satisfy that wish of a dessert I recommend the cake "sächer", you'll feel in the heaven eat it. (You can vaping too) But if you prefer the beer, or snacks, they have a long list of beers (German's beer too) and a delicious "papas gajo". I recommend go before 6pm. El dia 8 de marzo tuvimos una experiencia muy desagradable en este lugar. La joven que nos atendió fue grosera. Estabamos a 34 grados, calor extremo, y en cuanto nos sentamos le pedimos un vaso con agua en lo que escojiamos de la carta. Se negó a darnos el vaso hasta que no le ordenaramos algo antes, viendo claramente que estabamos apenas escogiendo y muriendo de calor. Le comenté que estabanos por pedir bebidas alcoholicas, entonces tenia que darnos el agua. Literal, nos dijo que" si queriamos algo gratis que enfrente regalaban agua". Estabamos tan casnados y acalorados que pedimos una cerveza y nos fuimos. Había asistido con regularidad a este lugar, pero la experiencia fue humillante incluso, no volveré. Quizas no brindan agua a los comensales para obligar a que compren embotellada, lo cual no solo es contrario a la normativa sino inhumano a 34 grados centigrados. Espero la gente que es maltratada lo señale, pues debe de cambiar la cultura de servicio. On March 8th I had an extremely unpleasant experience in this place. The young woman who served us was rude. It was 34 degrees and as soon as we sat down we asked for a glass of water while we saw the menu. He refused to give us the glass until we asked for something first, clearly seeing that we were just choosing. I told him that if we were about to order alcoholic beverages he had to give us the same. Literally, he told us that if "we wanted something free, they would give away water in front of us". We were so exhausted and hot that we ordered a beer and left. I had regularly attended this place, but the experience was even humiliating, I will not return. Perhaps they do not provide water to diners to force them to buy bottled water, which is not only contrary to regulations but inhumane at 34 degrees Celsius.
