We had a great experience in this venue last week (March '23). Bartender Jair took his time to explain us all about the different Mezcal we could taste. After he had figured out our tasting preferences, he recommended 1 tasting for the two of us. As there is a lot to taste, better off with sharing the portions Jair got us through 9 different Mezcal, with a very clear explanation. He was very passionate about the region and the Mezcal, and we even got some recommendations from him for must-go places and restaurants. Eventually, we bought 2 nice bottles. To conclucde, this is a great place with very motivated and attentive staff, also offers live music and the athmosphere is really great and cosy. I would for sure...

I just turned 40 in this bar, very quietly, no one was watching and I didn’t tell anyone. My girlfriend and our child were asleep in our Airbnb. I did the mezcal 102 tasting, and it was wonderful. With each pour, I received an informative description of what I was about to taste, by a bartender who had no noticeable signs of bitterness or fatigue. I only wish I were more fluent in Spanish. I understood enough, we got through it together. The ambiance was perfect, the level of the music was ideal, I’m 40 now, I am aware of these things. I couldn’t recommend this more as a stop for you and your family, as long as your family doesn’t include young children, if it does, I guess come alone, when...

I was really looking forward to this but was disappointed. Only 4 shots of Mezcal 550 pesos with very little explanation from our waiter on the different Mezcals. Admittedly, that was the result of my poor Spanish and his poor English but after being here for a week and tasting a lot of Mezcal this was really expensive. We also had to constantly get the waiters attention to move forward with each shot and get the bill.

There was another girl who was at the door earlier the day who spoke great English and might have provided a more informational,...

This was our best Mezcal tasting experience. Abraham was super welcoming and taught us the region's substantial mezcal background. He then guided us through a very detailed mezcal tasting. We enjoyed every second of it and came back the next day to buy a bottle of the one we had liked best. Unfortunately, they were out of it but went out of their way to make us taste similar mezcals, so that we could leave with a bottle we would enjoy.
