Lara&Luca de la 10 — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

I was completely unaware of the Avenida 10 y Calle 22 location of Lara&Luca until a few weeks ago, and ever since I have been consumed with regular thoughts of their eggs Benedict.

With a friend in town this weekend there was no better excuse (not that I need one😂) and it hit the spot!!! 199 pesos + 45 for the sausage, absolutely worth it. It's the best eggs Benedict I've ever had!

I generally don't get eggs Benedict as it can be very easy to mess up, especially if there is too much lemon juice but the texture and taste of their hollandaise was perfect! The poached eggs were cooked to perfection, phenomenally runny and the tall English muffins worked perfectly to soak everything up.

Their breakfast sausage is absolutely worth the upcharge in my opinion, 45 pesos brings 3 sausages and they have the perfect amount of snap on the casing and a delightful black pepper flavor.

The only thing is that it was pretty warm while we were there. Not sure if the AC was out when we went or if it doesn't have but it didn't stop me from going 2...

I’ve had this spot on my radar, and damn, I’m glad I finally dropped in. Tucked just off the chaos of 5th Ave, this cafe is a total vibe—chill, charming, and a perfect little escape.

I ducked in while it was raining, post-gym and in need of a pick-me-up. It delivered. The iced latte was on point, smooth and satisfying, and the cinnamon roll hit like a sweet little reward. I was eyeing the plates coming out of the kitchen—beautifully plated, colorful, and straight-up drool-worthy. I regret not ordering more, but that just means I’ll have to come back for a full-on breakfast session.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious breakfast at this wonderful restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Every bite was a delight! On top of the great food, our experience was made even better by our waitress, Italia, who provided exceptional service. She was friendly, attentive, and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Her warm personality and professionalism truly stood out, making our breakfast experience that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place and look forward to...
