LE BLEU — Local services in Playa del Carmen

I've been in Playa for over a month now, and I needed my roots dyed which is what initially led me to this salon. They were recommended by a L'Oréal color rep in Canada. They have hair dye that is close to ammonia free and she nailed the color formula that my stylist sent to me. I was so impressed with their services that I booked my daughter for a cut and she wanted two strands dyed pink - Again, she nailed it. (I don't know her name but she's the stylist with the short hair - I would HIGHLY recommend her!) As I was there, a lady was getting her nails done and they looked amazing after the service which prompted me to book an appointment for my nails. I am so HAPPY with the manicure and pedicure that I received. I've been to other nail salons in Playa and they take FOREVER (literally FOREVER). She was so efficient and detail oriented. Overall, I would recommend this salon to anyone and I will definitely be going back in 2 weeks for a root touch up and...

The lady who cut my hair was amazing, i show her a foto of what i like it and she did a great job. How ever the lady who is at cashier and attending clients at the desk on arrival serms to be unhappy and forced to work with a terrible bad attitude, while i was there she was probably respinsible if people declining the services at the salion due her bad atitude . You guys do a great job, unless she own the place take her out !!! I try to book a service and she never listen what i ask for. She seeme to be bother by me a client by asking for an appointment, prices and services ... To bad, cero attitude to be the spookesman in that saloon, i saw it in person but in phone is worst . The lady who attend me with lots of experience is my only reasb i will recommend this place, i cant remmember her name but she been wirking there more...

After what feels like a decade of traumatic experiences at the salon, I am so grateful to have found Cole at Bleu. He is patient, thoughtful, discusses options, doesn't make a first cut without my ok - essentially he makes this high strung girl feel comfortable with the process before he starts, and has given me the best hair cut of my life x 2, as well as done an amazing job with a color correction and new base on my long n wavy locks.

I also really enjoy the salon experience at Bleu which far outpaces the VERY REASONABLE cost of services - you get a decadent scalp and neck massage with your shampoo that is absolutely heavenly. Products are low or no ammonia, and have not triggered my contact dermatitis condition that I typically get from coloring, squeeee!
