Wonderful New Spot in Playa del Carmen! This Colombian restaurant recently relocated, and the new location is a huge improvement—more spacious and inviting. The menu and overall food quality offer a truly authentic Colombian culinary experience.
We were a group of four for dinner and enjoyed every dish we ordered: the delicious Bandeja Paisa, fresh Maracuyá juice, and Colombian empanadas made with fried corn dough, beef, and a homemade picante casero that was full of flavor.
I was especially excited to see Changua (a traditional Colombian milk and egg soup usually served for breakfast) on the menu—and even though it wasn't available at dinner, the chef kindly made one just for me. That gesture alone made the night extra special.
Every dish was rich in taste and prepared with care. Our server was warm, attentive, and wore beautiful traditional Colombian clothing, adding a cultural touch to the experience.
Highly recommended if you want a break from Mexican cuisine and are curious to explore the delicious flavors...

Maybe you need more waiters, more cooks, more staff. I don’t know what you need exactly but this was one of the slowest restaurants I’ve ever been to.

My friends weren't too impressed with their food either.
They were offering shots and it wasn't clear if it was on the house or not. We checked the bill and they had charged us 16 shots, which is okay as long as they tell us how much they are.
They focused so much on the shots (those came effectively to the table, quite fast in fact) but other little things would take forever...
Read moreA great change of pace from the typical flavors of Playa. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa. It was a generous portion with a lot of flavor. My wife ordered sancochado de res. It reminded us of those classic South American soups. I'm not a soup guy but I would consider ordering it the next time. The drinks were a good size. I ordered the maracuya. We brought our 1 year old and they had a high chair which was great. It was also at table level which was really nice. The parking was easy. Good place if you're looking for a change of pace in Playa. The only down side was that it didn't have any...
