LOS CHORICEROS DE TOLUCA — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

Wow! The food is amazing here. This is definitely an up and coming restaurant. Their tacos are delicious AND they fill them with heaps of meat. They season their meat just right. They also make really good fruit juices and soups. Both their meat broth soup and cactus soup were so flavorful. I was in Playa Del Carmen for 2 weeks and tried various tacos and restaurants in the area, and this is one of the top tasting and good value too. The service was also amazing. If you get To-Go, they give you a nice amount of condiments and limes. If I had tried them earlier in my trip, I would have kept coming back for lunch and dinner. I highly recommend trying them. I know the next time I am here, I will be back for more...

Una experiencia con mucho potencial, pero varios detalles que arreglar. Llegamos con ganas de disfrutar una buena taquería, pero la espera afuera fue larga y confusa, aunque no había fila visible. El señor que tomó el pedido parecía un poco perdido y tardó más de una hora en llegar la comida… y cuando llegó, los tacos estaban fríos. Además, nos cobraron una limonada que nadie pidió (y que, lamentablemente, no sabía bien). Entendemos que todos podemos tener un mal día, pero estos detalles hicieron que la visita no fuera agradable.Sugerencias para mejorar:

Agilizar la toma de pedidos con un sistema más claro (quizá una comanda digital o numeritos).

Revisar que los platillos salgan calientes y con los ingredientes correctos.

Confirmar con el cliente antes de agregar extras al ticket.

Al lado hay una taquería con mucha demanda, y con pequeños ajustes, este lugar podría llenarse igual.
