Roma Spaghetti strikes the perfect balance between chic and cozy. It is a small family run restaurant with 15-20 tables. A reservation might be advisable, but I was able to get a table at the last minute for my smaller group. The ambiance is trendy yet comfortable, making it ideal for intimate dinners and lively gatherings. Now the food….it was delicious! Some of the best Italian food I have had outside of Rome itself. Every dish had the freshest ingredients and was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The staff bought us bruschetta, a seemingly simple offering, but the combination of perfectly ripened ingredients left my mouth watering for more. As an appetizer, I ordered the prosciutto and melon. The ripeness of the melon was perfect and the serving size quite generous. I am still dreaming of the meatballs included in my spaghetti and meatball entree. Again, a perfect example of a classic dish made with fresh ingredients with rich and hearty flavors as only a truly authentic Italian cook might serve. We have been coming here every year because we loved the food, the ambiance, and the blonde lady that runs the place! We went on a Monday this time thinking it would be quieter. It was not, but we did get a table fairly quickly. No matter what you order, you get a bruschetta style plate to start, which is super fresh and yummy. They dont have alcohol here, so we order Pelligrino water. We usually order the tomato caprese, which we did, and it was great, fresh, and a nice presentation. I usually order their spaghetti bolognese with their yummy meatballs. My love gets the black pasta with squid ink, he loves it. This time we both ordered the meatballs. We were sadly disappointed 😞 this time, the meatballs were cold, the spaghetti was undercooked, and the sauce tasted old.
