Very nice place with a good selection of food, Mexican and a bit international for hamburgers and 2 kind of pasta. We took nachos, good but I would have preferred them with local cheese and not mozzarella, still delicious, a bit expensive I think: 190 pesos with no meat at all. We took also fish filet, very tasty and also 190 pesos, so better value. I had tostadas the second time I visited it, yes we came back! One tostadas with shrimps and one vegetarian. The vegetarian one was Amazing, we ordered one more right away, cost of it around 55 pesos, 75 pesos the one with shrimps with was delicious too but there was again mozzarella I guess which covered the good flavour of the shrimp. Beer is good draft, local, 45 peso half a litre. Burgers looked amazing huge portion but I Didn't order it. I also had a Pina colada for around 8 euro. It was good but I would not add a dash of cinnamon on top. Atmosphere is great, live music on Friday night and the band and singer was very good. The service is 5 stars. First night Dani attended us, the best! I asked for so many things (plus this, minus that...) and she never said no! With a super smile on her face. Second night Manuel, same story. 5 stars for the hard...
Read moreThe food is just mediocre. I had the seafood tower which other reviews raved about but as just a sculptured pile of unseasoned shrimp, tuna, cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions with clamato juice poured at the base, I just don't see what's so special about it. Also I had an odd interaction. They list their opening time as 2pm. I came a few min early and their gate was closed so I walked around the block to kill time and the gate was a bit open when I returned at a bit after 2, so I walked in. The guard in the black Yankees hat comes over and I ask him if they are open. He points to the gate and says "don't you see that we're closed. Come back in 30 minutes." It was my first time here so I didn't know they fully remove the gate when they are open. I don't know if he intended to be rude but he certainly came across that way. I must say the rest of the staff was very polite including my server Cesar. This place also often has live music, though not when I was there, so maybe that's why it has such a high rating on gmaps cause the food isn't that special. I wouldn't return given all the other great...

Zitla Playa completely blew us away! From the moment we sat down, the vibe was super chill and laid-back, yet the service was quick and incredibly attentive. Huge shoutout to Camila, our wonderful server, who was not only sweet but also gave us amazing recommendations — especially the cocktails, which totally rocked.
Now let’s talk about the food… The Tuna Tostada was hands-down the star of the evening — so fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced that it deserves Michelin attention! The Armonía de Amor was another standout dish — creative and beautifully plated. We also loved the Skinny Strawberry Margarita (refreshing and just the right kick), the Guacamole, and the Burrito Asado, which were so good we’re already planning our next visit.
We also tried the Seafood Tower, and while it was good and well-presented, it didn’t quite top the unforgettable tuna tostada.
Thanks, Zitla team, for a fantastic dining experience. We’ll be...
