Alma Verde is one of those places that instantly makes you feel at home. The vibe is beautiful, calm, and full of good energy, the perfect spot to relax and enjoy. The food is absolutely amazing, fresh, and full of flavor. You can really feel the love and care that goes into everything they serve. 🌱💚
What makes it even more special is the staff. They are so kind, welcoming, and always smiling. As an animal lover, my heart just melted when I saw the sweet kitten and sometimes other cats and dogs that come by. 🐾 The team even feeds the dogs at times, and I think the same goes for the cats too. That really touched me, because here in Tulum there are many animals on the streets who are hungry or need a little help, and Alma Verde shows them love and kindness whenever they can.
For me, Alma Verde is more than just a restaurant, it’s an experience filled with good vibes, delicious food, compassion, and genuine care. I absolutely love it here and can’t wait to...

They have plenty of varieties but we were literally doing our morning run so we did not have a huge appetite.
Coffee: I usually look for an espresso machine if I’m going to order a coffee. I got a Latte Dulce de Leche and loves the coffee flavor. I was expecting more sweetness from the dulce de leche so I asked for a side of honey to add to the coffee. My girlfriend got a regular latte as it was pure. Loved the coffee flavor.
Servers: Ismael, Zayra, and Susana served us with a smile. Great atmosphere and they answered all our questions. When coming from out of the country, you might not know what all of the ingredients are so they are helpful in explaining how it all works together to assemble...
Read moreUpdated (see bottom) Amazingly fresh food. I had an açaí bowl, immunity tea, and the Mexicanos Benedict. All were very flavorful without anything being overpowering. Perfect amount of cinnamon in the açaí bowl, tea wasn’t too acidic or heavy on the ginger, and the Benedict was rich without being heavy or greasy. Super happy with everything. Construction next door made it a bit loud but not unusual for Tulum. And forgot to mention great service got a health shot on the house before my meal! Super friendly staff.
Updated review from 5 to 4 stars as I went back a couple of days later for a late brunch and I got the same meal. Açaí bowl was decent but my tea had more citrus and less honey and wasn’t as flavorful and to top it off the Benedict was served cold. Such a different experience the second time around perhaps because they were transitioning to...
