Nestled amidst the vibrant streets of Tulum, Cafe Carlito stands out as a culinary gem, offering an unforgettable dining experience that tantalizes the taste buds and warms the soul. Recently indulging in their Croque Monsieur, I was swept away by its exquisite flavors and charming ambiance.

From the moment you step foot into Cafe Carlito, you're greeted with a welcoming atmosphere that effortlessly combines rustic charm with modern elegance. The cozy interior, adorned with vibrant artwork and lush greenery, provides the perfect backdrop for an intimate dining experience.

As I settled into my seat, anticipation mounted as I awaited the arrival of my Croque Monsieur. When it finally arrived, I was greeted with a sight that was as visually appealing as it was appetizing. The sandwich, perfectly toasted to golden perfection, exuded an irresistible aroma that teased the senses.

Upon the first bite, it was evident that Cafe Carlito takes pride in using only the finest ingredients. The crusty bread enveloped a generous filling of premium ham and gooey cheese, harmoniously complemented by a creamy béchamel sauce. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, with the richness of the cheese balanced by the savory notes of the ham and the subtle hint of herbs.

Accompanying my meal was a refreshing beverage selection that perfectly complemented the culinary journey. From freshly brewed coffee to artisanal teas and handcrafted cocktails, Cafe Carlito offers something for every palate.

But beyond the exquisite cuisine, what truly sets Cafe Carlito apart is its unparalleled hospitality. The attentive staff, led by the passionate owners, go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels like a cherished member of the family.

In conclusion, my experience at Cafe Carlito was nothing short of extraordinary. From the delectable Croque Monsieur to the charming ambiance and impeccable service, every aspect of the dining experience exceeded my expectations. Whether you're a culinary connoisseur or simply seeking a memorable meal in Tulum, Cafe Carlito is a must-visit destination that promises to delight...

It’s our last meal in tulum and we decided to come here. The place was empty but we still gave it a chance. The server was so friendly until the end of our meal. Our food was good despite being attacked by a million flies while eating. The restaurant needs some fans to keep these flies out of the way. When we got our bill there was a 20% tip included into the bill which was not cool. I definitely understand the tipping situation but if you’re going to include it into the bill, definitely state that on your menu and online. I asked the server about the actual total and so we paid. The server never came back with our change. We sat there waiting and he would just look at us and continue doing whatever nonsense he was doing. Not cool, we were actually going to tip him more than what was on the bill but since he decided to play dumb and not give us our change, we didn’t tip him at all. So much engery in greeting us so we could support yall but yall didn’t give us that energy back when we were leaving. If you want a successful business and genuinely care, don’t rip off your only...

Today we visited Carlito Burrito. We tried the Pork Bits & bacon-wrapped Jalapeño. The music was nice and the filling in the jalapeños was interesting. However, the fries were greasy and soaked in oil and they ran out of Corona beer - in Mexico!

The suggested tip was too high considering Mexican standards; they had a 15% or 20% tip suggestion written on the bill, as if we were in LA.

We paid around 325MX for what you see in the picture & only one drink. In general, overhyped and not really worth the money in my opinion. Likely appeals more to young internationals seeking an escape from...

Tried out this new spot in LA veleta tulum and have to say the food and service is excellent...especially the service for down here. Started with the birria spring rolls which were excellent. Had the life changing fish tacos and they are damn good. Highly recommend. Also had the castacan pork belly burrito which was ok. Also you have to ask for hot suace/salsa as they don't bring any out. The guacamole type sauce with the fish tacos is good. Asked for some extra. Prices are what you expect for the area.

Food has great flavor but in my opinion portions are too big. I got the cauliflower tacos and you couldn’t pick it up to eat it. Would gladly pay the same price for smaller tacos because the flavor was good. Also a bit too much sauce on the tortilla
