This was by far the best service we had in Tulum. The guys were super friendly and informed us about all the specials and shared their story about the cactus 🌵 wall. The place might look small from the street view but they have a nice back garden area where you can chill with some palms and of course famous cactuses 🌵. Food was served quickly and absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend Croque Madame with chicken, bacon and egg 👌 Plus we got some yummy crepes with berries confiture and whipped cream. We will definitely come back!

I thought this was a tiny order at the counter spot but there’s a beautiful garden area tucked away in the back. If you’ve had way too much tacos and in dire need of a salad this is the spot. Beautiful colors and super fresh. The roast beef sandwich was on point and the potato’s are a musttt. The juices have no sugar added and compliment all the colors of the meal. I was pleasantly surprised to find this little gem. It’s the kind of place you know you’ll go back to after the third bite. ((((Don’t forget to order the potatoes!!)))

Small venue but you can tell it is full of love. The gentleman who was serving was kind, attentive and efficient. Although the food took a long time, it was delicious and made with care. We got the Avocado toast with poached egg (requested scrambled), the French toast, pineapple juice and watermelon juice. I loved everything but i probably would not get the juice again as it was underwhelming. Highly recommend and encourage you to give yourself enough time and come to relax.

Adorable small establishment on the La Veleta main drag. One of the rare places where you can sit inside in the comfort of air conditioning. So many great choices for lunch. My husband and I both ordered fresh juices, mine was blended watermelon which I appreciated did not have sugar like some places in Mexico tend to add. It was incredibly refreshing. He ordered the beetroot with ginger and loved it. I ordered the avocado toast with a poached egg and he got the hummus beetroot toast. Award winning presentation. You can tell the owner really takes pride in serving people and doing it well. My husbands dish really stood out as it had a lot of flavor with the hint of sweet. We enjoyed two visits at Ma Cherie and would have returned on a longer stay in Tulum. Our coffees and food were delicious, and we loved the attention to presentation details. Beautiful food truly does taste better. Lingering on the lovely covered back patio with friends was delightful.

The main reason I am taking time to write a review, however, is our appreciation for the warm and gracious hospitality of the proprietors. They were extraordinarily friendly, patient and accommodating. I could not have felt more welcome. I hope that their business thrives for many years to come.

I have tasted many items on the menu and I am always so happy and nourished. The food is delicious and the service is superb. It is clear that all of the people working in this restaurant are genuinely happy to be there, their positive energy is consistent and delightful to be around. It is clear that they love to make their customers happy. The cafe is a pleasant and cool environment, but it is the garden in back where I choose to spend my time. It is a peaceful oasis on calle 7.
