THEY SCAM YOU ON YOUR BILL!!! BEWARE!!!! We chose this place for some authentic Italian food. When we sat down, the waitress was nice, but informed us we weren't allowed to drink the bottle of water we brought and that we would have to order something on the menu, she was polite about it... we said it was fine, we would just not drink it while we eat. We ordered a margarita pizza and pesto burrata pasta. The pizza was OK, seemed like it could have been cooked longer because the dough in the middle was quite soggy. The pasta was very salty and the ball of burrata that they put on top was cold as ice, so it was weird that they would put it like that on top of warm pasta. One of the worst parts about our dining experience was how rude the other waiter was. Literally before my pasta dish was taken away, the guy already brought the check. No one checked on us to see how the meal was, even though we actually wanted to order dessert. We felt like they just wanted to turn over tables and get people out of there. They just lost out on us spending more at their restaurant. I love Italy but if anyones ever been, i guess they are just as rude in mexico as the people in Italy with their pushy behavior and lack of customer service. For our last night in tulum, anyone looking to eat Italian, I would recommend you go somewhere where your dining experience is appreciated, they treat you nice and they value you as a customer. But the very worst is that they changed the price on our bill to upcharge us when we paid. Cant beleive that they do this to customers. Bunch of SCAM ARTISTS! DISPICABLE!
My response to your reply. On the menu , the spaghetti i ordered is 200 pesos and the margarita pizza is 190.. totalling 390 and for Some reason you charged us 410 (that's an increase of 20 pesos). I am not the first person to write this Type of review as it seems like your staff does this to other tourists as well. This is not ok! In regards to the water bottle we brought, we are tourists who spent a long day at the Beach And Carried a water bottle with us as we Walked the main Strip to try to find food. We were totally fine not drinking it because of your restaurant policy. Both my husband and i dont drink alcohol. So just because we didn't order drinks you somehow justify treating us poorly and ensuring we felt unwanted and made us leave as soon as possible without even asking us if we wanted dessert....
Read moreI loved this Italian restaurant! It’s located on the main street in downtown Tulum. My partner and I stopped in after catching the amazing smell while walking by, and we definitely didn’t regret that decision. The restaurant is small, with a cozy indoor area and several outdoor tables. I personally recommend sitting outside, because the indoor area has a very strong food smell. The place was very clean, and all the furniture was in good condition. We arrived late, around 9 p.m., and it was quite busy; we had to wait about 8 minutes to get an outdoor table. The service was great! The waiters were super sweet and attentive, always nearby if we needed anything. Everyone spoke good English. The menu offers a variety of Italian dishes. We decided to share the Tuna Tartare and a Pepperoni Pizza. Both dishes were super delicious! The tartare was made with extremely fresh fish, perfectly marinated. The pizza was baked the proper Italian way - just as it should be. At the end, we decided to try the Tiramisu, which was also amazing and delicious. To drink, I ordered the mint lemonade, and I loved it too; the flavor was super refreshing and tasty. The prices on the menu are very reasonable. For example, a pizza was just U.S. $12. This place accepts credit cards and Apple Pay, which is a big plus. I absolutely recommend eating at this restaurant if you’re visiting downtown Tulum and looking for tasty...
Read moreOrdered a pizza and a Caesar salad and my mother ordered a burrata appetizer. I pointed at each item we wanted on the menu to verify. I asked for no ham 4 times, they verified there would be no ham. The food came quickly, however they brought us two pizzas, a burrata pizza and my pizza but WITH ham, which I clarified I did NOT want FOUR times. We asked the waiter about it and I asked where my salad was. He argued with us until we gave in that we never ordered a salad and we ordered two pizzas, which is not true because I pointed at the menu. So I asked again for my Caesar salad and another water. I didn’t get the salad. He came back up to me a few minutes later asking if I wanted the salad and I said yes. I had to wait until I was almost finished with my food when someone checked on us to get the water. We are pretty slowly. If the waiter had offered to give us the right food instead of argue with us then I would have been satisfied. He needs training on customer service, because the bartender is the one that ended up getting me water when she noticed the water hadn’t been...
