Unless youre just ordering coffee, go somewhere else for food.
A restaurant that's banking more on the fact that there's plenty of foot traffic rather than quality in their food. Our tour driver recommended this place, so I figured we would try it. I wish I insisted on going to my original place, Panchita Café.
Interior wise, it is beautiful and worth taking pictures of. The servers do a fine job, and know some english in case espanol is not your strong suit.
The chilaquiles was ok, but they use way too much sauce, sogging up the chips. They don't give you that much either in regards to ingredients, besides a ton of sauce.
The hot cakes were comparable to what you can get at a hotel. Not sure if they even make it on site, based on how bland they look and uniform they are shaped. The majority of the flavor comes form the butter and maple syrup I added.
The bacon was decent, although it was served 1 minute after I ordered it post main entree. Clearly it's not cooked fresh and it's stored premade. It wasn't hot or crispy, but there was plenty of bacon flavor in every bite.
I did not personally drink the coffee, but was told it was great. If I had to guess, their coffee is probably their biggest strength in...
Read moreI would go back to Tulum just to visit Ki’Bok again! We visited Ki’Bok 3 times and honestly wish I had it more!
Service was amazing, food came relatively fast and was always fresh, great coffee, ambiance is very nice! Servers were friendly and personable.
🍳Ki’Bok breakfast plate - my fave!! Came with 2 pieces of bacon, eggs, hashbrown potatoes, focaccia bread and a pineapple jam! Sooooo good!!! The focaccia bread with the jam was toooo good! I added an avocado as well to top it off 🌮 Birria tacos - these were so good too!! The tacos were cooked with burnt cheese but the good kind!! The meat was moist and the sauces were good to add on top! 🌮 fish tacos - also soooo good! 3 tacos came with about 4-5 pieces of deep fried battered fish, with coleslaw and avocado! And the chipotle mayo sauce it came with was the cherry on top!
Cannot rave about this place enough LOL it was just THATTTT good!!!
Also thank you to the server who gave us one of their “swifty”...
Read moreI pride myself on the 40min walk I took just to try this place and I can genuinely say it was worth it!
I came for the chai latte and stayed for the pan Frances (French toast with caramelised apple and syrup) 🤤
I sat in the garden outside which was beautiful although bring your bug spray as I left with a few bites on my legs 🥲
The service was prompt and friendly, the chai latte hit the spot (best I had in Mexico so far) and the French toast was delicious although my sweet tooth wanted it to be a little more moist and with syrup. I’m sure my blood sugar levels were thankful 😅
The toilets are functional with communal sinks outside and the best bit? The fantastic quotes people have written all over the walls and doors so you leave feeling drained and inspired. A truly wonderful experience and. A must...
