Absolutely amazing, fresh, and delicious food!! I had been really wanting to have some Cochinita Pibil and we wanted to experience it at an authentic local place and this was it!! I got sort of a lonche type sandwich with it and also one of the empanadas and they were both increíble. Tasted like I was eating in someone’s home. It didn’t even need salsa, though the habanero salsa was delicious. My husband got a salbute and a sope and they were both fresh and delicious as well. I got a lemonade which was refreshing and not overly sweet. This was the best food we’ve had during our time in Mexico and for all of that it was only 100 pesos. The restaurant is family owned. They were very friendly and sweet. They said they spend the whole night cooking to have the fresh food ready for the next morning when they open. a little off the beaten path is where you’ll find the most authentic food, without the exuberant prices of the main street. here, at loncheria leo, you’ll find the best tortas in town at the best price. they have many options for other food; empanadas, tacos, and more. the menu is in spanish, and you’ll need some understanding of the language (or at least a translation app) to be able to order. this is a local place, and as such they do not need to cater to customers who only are english speakers. do yourself a huge favor and visit this wonderful establishment! it’s an everyday treat for us while in tulúm and deserves to be more busy. the waiters are so kind, the food is...

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Excellent tasty authentic mexican food, large portions, cheap, a meal+drink around 120 pesos. We went multiple times for breakfast and lunch.
