I ended up here after discovering that Ma Chérie down the street was closed. I had only considered this place for its nightlife, as my intuition suggested it wasn’t ideal for dining but more of a spot to relax. The venue is beautifully designed, perfect for cocktails, shisha, and an evening ambiance. However, the food prices are exorbitantly high, even by Tulum and neighborhood standards (this comes from someone who has lived here for three months). For lunch it came out to 480 ($25 USD).
Since I had tacos last night, I opted for the fettuccine Alfredo. Unfortunately, it resembled more of a mushroom noodle soup than a traditional Alfredo dish. For dessert, I chose the brownie with ice cream, which was as underwhelming as the main course.

Read moreThis restaurant/hookah bar is a MUST visit when visiting Tulum. Mistico has total jungle vibes which are great, I mean they built around a few trees which makes you feel as if you're outside or you could actually sit outside which is awesome too.! Drinks are delicious, we had a shot and a Pina colada. All of their tacos we're the delicious. The BEST tacos we've ever had and the hookah is so amazing too! The staff is sweet and pretty laid back but so is the ambience in the whole place. It's Great and we love this place during our trip we went there about 2-3 times, ohh and did I mention we stopped there on our WEDDING DAY to eat and drink and have some great photo's taken. We will definitely be...

Walked around the neighborhood for a bit with a plan to stop back here on the way back and luckily entered just as the rain started. We had a couple Montelobos mezcal. The passionfruit margarita and I got a couple Piedra Lisa IPAs. Hadn’t had an IPA since we arrived in Tulum and sure hit the spot.
Unfortunately we didn’t get to sit outside, but sitting inside with the sound of the rain hitting the roof in what feels like a greenhouse was perfect.
The octopus at another table looked delicious as did the meat dish that had corn on the cob. Will definitely come...
