Soulbox — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

Travelling around Mexico solo. Treated myself to a nice night out at this ‘fancy’ establishment. Witnessed another young man being harassed and manipulated by management and the police. Horrified to see that he was escorted out just because he had issues with the service. A member of the staff even attempted to hit the guy until the police got involved. All I could make out was that the customer had an issue with the waitresses discriminatory behaviour. The manager didn’t seem to care. Honestly the food was average. The music was so pedestrian I think Spotify could help them and the drinks were pretty watered down to be honest. The roof top would be nice during the day I guess. But at night the view is...

Overall experience: horrid. A man coaxed us up, it was just before sunset and we thought, "how bad can it be?" Well....

Food was the worst we've had in Mexico by far. Frozen breaded seafood. Burger had things in it that aren't listed on the menu (bacon and pineapple). Drinks tasted chemically. We were then charged for an extra cocktail and took them ages to take it off the bill.

Our least favorite meal on Holbox. Everything was just ok. We only had breakfast, but they didn't get my order right. They didn't have any syrup for pancakes. The drinks were weak.
