Veleta Market — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

Possibly designed by Hellen Keller. But not sure who decided to make the only (narrow) walkway shared space with folks ordering.

Impossible to maneuver around people to go further back, and impossible to retrieve food with ease.

Food wise, i wanted the Italian but about 35 Americans that look like they got off a cruise ship in the way. Once i was able to get pay them i paid $22 for a Thai noodle dish and got some fair priced beers in the back.

To retrieve the noodles i had to plead with guests to move to get to the counter

All in all. The Thai dish shoulda been $10 and people need to move out of the way.

For the same price could have had an amazing sunset view...

We were there two times. The atmosphere is really nice and they have performances start from 21:00 pm. Food is okay but pricey. You only get service for the drinks. On the first evening we were served by the very nice lady, she was friendly and attentive. On the second evening there was a guy. He was mostly talking to my partner. And when I asked for the bill and paid , he was still talking to my partner and he asked him if he needs a receipt. That is really weird. I think the personal should be more...

The service was on point. Literally three servers to help you at any point in time. The margaritas were delicious. The food came out fast and was incredibly fresh. Pizzas made right in sight. The food was ok, but nothing to rave about. I like that this place was covered to protect from the showers/rain. Most places around are outdoor only and the tables were wet.
