I stumbled into Raum solo for breakfast and it instantly became one of my favorite morning spots. The vibe was peaceful and welcoming—perfect for a solo date with myself. I ordered their green juice, and wow… it was to die for. Not thick like a smoothie, but a true juice—light, smooth, and incredibly refreshing. You can taste the quality.

I also ordered the keto bowl and added an extra egg and chicken for a protein boost. It was amazing—flavorful, satisfying, and beautifully plated. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. Highly recommend Raum whether you’re solo or with company—it’s a gem!

I haven't been during the day, so can't attest to what it's like before dark, but this place definitely has a pretty weird vibe in the evening. Feels a bit "nightclubby" as there's a DJ (playing the same tunes every night) but serves ramen? For a start it's too dark in there to even see what you're eating. Also, and this is the crux, if I'm drinking, I definitely don't want to be eating anything that is 80% water - it just bloats you out. Give me a pizza or something similar - oh wait, you can't do that because you'd be copying what La Pizzine next door do 😑 I went to the counter to pay the bill as it was really hard to get the staff's attention, and the guy taking payment added an additional service charge without my knowledge. Let's start with the average, no egg in one of our Ramen (waitress explained apparently it's because it's a vegetarian option however didn't say that anywhere on the menu plus it's egg noodles??) , I ordered udon noodles but got egg noodles. The Bau is loaded with bean sprouts and the tiniest amount of pork, bit of a rip of. The good - atmosphere is great, nice cocktails and generally the flavours were good. Think we just got unlucky, however don't go here if you want a proper feed, as the Bau is empty and the ramen has around 4 mouthfuls of noodle. Pork was delicious however.

Don't normally leave bad reviews, but when we told the staff about it the wrong order, missing egg and tiny Bau they weren't really bothered or apologetic. Perhaps offer a discount or a free egg.
