As a Mexican, this restaurant is an embarrassment and top it off, is in Mexico. Foreigners eating here think this is good food.

My wife and I were debating between Margaritaville and this. I had heard that the former is not a good restaurant so decided to give a chance to Tequila.

Atmosphere is not of my preference, due to the overly loud speakers but I am not the main audience. They were trying to allure younger people.

The service was good enough.

We started ordering 2 margaritas on the rocks. Both of them were awful. We returned them. I got a beer instead and my wife got a frozen margarita recommended by the waiter. Beer needed to be colder and the frozen margarita tasted like they overdid the tequila. My wife just took a sip and did not keep drinking.

We order the nachos with carne asada for appetizer and a 3 taco order of different meats. Chicken, asada and fish. The nachos were better than expected, they had enough cheese at least, unlike other places where there is not enough cheese to finish the rest of the chips. The fish taco was mediocre at best, the other 2 not good at all. To top it all off I ended up paying over $100 dollars not pesos. The Margarita alone is over $20, that is heinous. As well as the items on the menu are over $20. I recommend going back to the cruise and drink there as well as eating. Way better...

I love the atmosphere of the place. I don’t know what “real Mexicans” expect as I’ve seen Latinos lament how bad this place is. Honestly, if I’m looking for authentic Mexican food I’m not stopping in the port area but going out into the city. Not sure what they were expecting.

I love the atmosphere here. The music, being from Motown and hearing a lot of Motown and disco music, makes my heart sing. I’m not 90 and don’t really care to hear 60s hits rehashed like sad sack packaged gumbo.

I had a strawberry margarita which was faaaabulous. And a vegetable quesadilla. Fantastic. My wife had groovy guava and some beer battered fish tacos which were fantastical.

I will 100% be coming back. Nice atmosphere and wasn’t overcrowded which I...

Good service, friendly personnel and good atmosphere.... Had the "groovy frajitas" served quickly, bit the beef was overcooked, chewy, probably frozen.... I would recommend to serve it with guacamole which is an important ingredient of frajitas and the Mexican cuisine!! Also I had the "Divino Mezcal" trio taste and a part of the fruit pieces the 3 mezcal samples tasted exactly the same! REALLY???? No Mexican people understand a...
