I visited Kosmos Coffee recently, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The coffee itself was average—nothing to write home about—but what really stood out was the terrible service.
The man attending (who happens to be severely overweight) was shockingly rude and curt. He acted as though serving customers was a chore, like he was doing us a favor by simply being there. Any polite questions or requests were met with one-word answers, often delivered with dismissive or rude body language.
Customer service is a cornerstone of any good coffee shop, and sadly, Kosmos Coffee completely missed the mark. Until there are changes in staff attitude, AVOID I won’t be returning.
And the only reason we mention his weight is that he did not want to give his name ..
And there were only two tables with tourists and def no other staff .. ..
Look at their other replies with negative reviews .. “ups” (actually oops) was their reply.. my guess is that this place will follow the fate of other mediocre places in tulum .. gone...
Read moreCute small coffee shop right off the main road. There are several tables outside to sit and a taco place across the street playing salsa, so it’s a nice spot to watch the morning pass by.
Service was quick and friendly (barista encouraged my Spanish while I was practicing), my latte was good.
Things to know: -there were some croissants, but otherwise no food (I saw a picture uploaded here that made it seem like there was full breakfast)
-they have almond and regular milk
-the menu is v straightforward: espresso, latte, flat white, cappuccino, tea. They have white and brown sugar
