I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Taqueria, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and welcoming energy set the stage for an unforgettable meal. But what truly elevated the experience were the incredible staff, especially Victor and Jhovany.

Victor greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and he was more than happy to offer recommendations that suited our preferences. He was attentive throughout the meal, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. His genuine passion for both the food and customer experience was evident in every interaction.

Jhovany, on the other hand, brought an infectious enthusiasm that added an extra layer of joy to our dining experience. Whether it was his quick service or his friendly banter, Jhovany made us feel like we were old friends. He clearly loves what he does, and that energy made the meal even more special.

Now, onto the food: every dish was bursting with authentic flavor, from the perfectly spiced tacos to the fresh, hand-made tortillas. La Taqueria's food is as close to street-style Mexican cuisine as you can get without hopping on a plane. You can taste the quality and care in every bite.

I wanted to love this place bc a friend who was here a while ago told me it was awesome. Unfortunately it was disappointing. The guy who worked there was super nice so at least they are friendly. But the food, which is why I went, was below average. First of all they didn’t have chips which is an odd thing because nachos and guacamole are a big part of their menu and…it’s a Mexican spot. You can’t run next door or down the street to buy or borrow some chips? But then I waited an inordinate amount of time in a more or less empty restaurant for some quesadillas and a few tacos. When the food finally came it tasted slightly metallic and even if it had not, it was subpar. If I’m looking for a positive, the coke I got was cold and the three salsas that came after I asked (not automatically given with the meal) were pretty good. It’s a bummer to have eaten one of my few meals on vacation here. I hope they can turn it around bc the location is great and it seems like they used to get...

They charged my $30 for a margarita just because I ask for don’t Julio tequila… the guy told me that if I used don Julio tequila it was going to be $350 for the margarita instead of $250 as the menu said … plus, he admitted he made at mistake at the end , and he didn’t even take off my the extra margarita at the end. On top of that, I asked some girl there to get me some napkins on Sept 3, 2025 at 7:00 pm, and the idiot had a very ugly attitude, she said she was not the waiter lol … what the hell was she doing there? Looking pretty lol she was ugly anyways … the owner will appreciate my feedback … the table next to me got overcharged as well lol…. Avoid this place at all cost … DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE .. They will steal your money because they know you won’t come back … food and drink is not even...
