Update: On our next visit to Soy Tulum Beach Club we were told by Conrado that there was a $1,000 peso minimum per person. We told him that was not what we experienced within the last two weeks during our previous visit, but he insisted we had to pay $1,000 peso per person. No sign of Johnny that day. We went back and forth and he ended up waiving the minimum. We spent about 4 hours there and ordered food and drink throughout the day. We have definitely learned that the most consistent thing in Tulum is inconsistency. But this kind of thing is a bummer and we will not be so quick to choose Soy Tulum in the future. :(
Original Review: We really enjoy this laid back place. We love that they aren’t blaring music, we can listen to the sounds of the waves and comfortably have a conversation. We met new friendlier staff, Johnny and Conrado on our most recent visit, which made our visit even better this time and will bring us back sooner. They informed us the place was under new management. The cauliflower tacos are a great vegan option for lunch. We have brought several friends to this beach club, and they have all enjoyed it as well, and returned...
Read moreMy partner and I have been vacationing in Tulum for 8 days now and Soy Tulum is by far the best beach club we’ve visited, so much so that we came back for a second visit today!
There is a minimum spend of 1000 pesos per person inclusive of a beach bed, food and drinks. There are plenty of tasty options that are fairly priced leaving us with our bellies full and happy. The staff are just delightful, especially Johnny! They are incredibly welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Johnny was just outstanding and made our experience unforgettable.
The atmosphere is the perfect balance between tranquil and fun! To start, the entryway to Soy is super cool - I don’t want to give it all away, but be sure to have your camera handy. There’s music, but at a reasonable volume where you’re able to have a conversation or take a nap. The water is divine - soft white sand and clear blue water. There is seaweed, but the staff work hard to clear it earlier in the day.
I’d give this place 10 stars across the board if I could. I highly recommend and will be back on my next...
Read moreSoy tulum was recommended to me and my girlfriend by someone we met at our hotel. From the walk down a tight tree path to our entrance to the beach I was instantly impressed. We were greeted immediately by the friendliest staff who were willing to do anything to make our day at the beach fantastic. My spanish is not the best and all the staff spoke english perfectly and we willing to help me learn some Español during my time there. There was never a moment where I had to request service because they had a sixth sense for when I needed them. We spent most our time on a cabana covered from the sun eating fantastic food, and having amazing drinks. The view, the atmosphere and the quiet relaxation was everything we needed. Soy tulum is adults only and not the same club style vibe the rest of the tulum beach clubs offer. Perfect place for peace, quiet, amazing sevice, and the perfect ocean spot. We will be returning over...
