Cafeina Bistro — Restaurant in Valladolid

We were here on New Year's Eve. Had reserved the day before via Facebook, the same day the reservation was confirmed again. When we got there, we had to pay 100 pesos per person (should have been pointed out to us via Facebook) and there was no table reserved for us. Fortunately, we still got one as desired on the terrace. However, the bench for sitting was more than uncomfortable (shorter clothes should not be worn here). The waiters were friendly (one star for that) and very eager, especially when it comes to clearing the table, but they can definitely work on the speed of taking orders and bringing the bill. We sat on the terrace, which has a great atmosphere (for this the second star). Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio for the food and most of the drinks was not right at all. The third star is therefore only for the guacamole burger and the house cocktails, but actually you should only give half a star for this (but of course you can't). The guacamole was simply too little for the price, the sausage and cheese plate had too much blue cheese and too little Serrano ham for the price. The octopus was very greasy and for the price also just not as you would expect. The fries with the burger were also drenched in grease and totally soft. All in all, you can eat most things already, but for the price we would have expected more than an Instagram-worthy arrangement...

Watch your bartender make your drinks if you plan on ordering cocktails. Poorly run bar, poor service, rude staff. Ordered 2 cocktails paying 90 peso per drink, top shelf tequila listed as ingredient on menu, watched the man behind the bar use house tequila, When questioned he agreed to make two new cocktails, then watched him make the drinks again, the man poured about half a shot into the blender of the correct tequila on his second attempt to get the drink right, I was then served two half full cocktails. Either the bartender is incompetent or they have very low morals and ethics, saving a few peso for the business resulted in an unhappy group of customers leaving instead of spending more money and enjoying our time. The bare minimum that could have been done was replace the drinks correctly, instead I was served rubbish and felt the need to leave the venue and write my first ever bad review. We went to Caféine to eat diner. The place is nice but waiters don’t speak English and basic Spanish is not enough. If you are in the rooftop you hear 2 loud musics at the same time from the concert and the dj areas… the food was correct but arrived after a long expectation, one dish after another… we thought they forgot one dish and couldn’t explain to the waiter so we ordered a new dish and had to cancel it when the previous one was actually delivered to our table.
