I visited Chiringuito in last june to celebrate my mother’s birthday and the experience was absolutely amazing i want to especially highlight the incredible service provided by Khadija a hostess at the restaurant When i arrived to make the reservation Khadija was the only person available as her manager was not present at first i wasn’t sure if everything would be managed well but Khadija reassured me with her professionalism and attention to detail she explained all the birthday options prices and conditions clearly and even showed me around the terrace and interior spaces helping me select the perfect spot for the event On the day of the celebration Khadija remembered every detail we had discussed 👌🏼👌🏼and made sure everything went smoothly despite being a hostess she managed the event like a true leader ensuring my mother’s surprise birthday was perfect her dedication and professionalism exceeded my expectations and i was truly impressed by her work ethic i also want to commend the management for training such amazing staff if this is the level of service provided by a hostess i can only imagine how excellent the entire team must be under their leadership👍👍👍 Khadija’s work is a reflection of great training and a commitment to quality service I’m incredibly grateful for the unforgettable experience and will definitely return to Chiringuito on my next visit to Tangier Thank you to Khadija and the team for making this celebration...

We were in the mood for some different type of food so decided to check Chiringuito.

We entered the restaurant to request a table. She was hesitant as we did not have reservations despite the restaurant being empty. She proceeded to escort us to our table at the rear of the restaurant. We politely requested a table closer to the window to enjoy the view. She said it was reserved for a party an hour and half later. We insisted on another table closer to the window. She actually rolled her eyes and said fine sit.The attitude of the hostess was unaccounted for.

Servers: casually all standing around watching. Finally two one came over to take our order.

Onto the food, tried different variations of pasta (mushroom & salmon). There was plenty of sauce and it was tasty. The steak was done to our liking. The hummus was out least favorite,it was just a mushy chickpeas blend.

The location is great, right by the water, the nice breeze coming in, the dj was setting up for the night. At one point, they starting putting candle lights onto each table but decided we werent worthy so skipped our table.

Despite the nice ambiance and the decent food, I would still never visit this restaurant based solely on the service and attitude of the employees. It was as if we were an inconvenience to them for being there. An hour and 45 min later, the restaurant was...

Disgusting discrimination and Shameful treatment.

I’m writing this review because we experienced an extremely unpleasant and deeply disrespectful situation at the entrance of Chiringuito.

My partner was denied entry while I was welcomed – with the explanation that “her profile” was not allowed inside. That is a disgusting and humiliating way to speak about a person. She was dressed elegantly and respectfully, as she always is, yet was treated as if she was something lesser – as if she didn’t deserve to enter.

To compare a respectable woman to an “unwanted type” is not only discriminatory – it’s humiliating, sexist, and shows a complete lack of decency and respect. We have been eating here all year and always shown this place respect, but this experience revealed the ugly truth behind its image.

For a security guard to stand in front of a so-called high-end place and speak to women like that is shameful. This is not just bad service – it’s offensive and degrading.
