Chicken Spot — Restaurant in Fez

Was looking forward to this chicken place as it was recommended. Ordered xl chicken mix meal, 2 xl cheese burger meal and the largest (out of 3) 4 season pizza. First of all the place is semi clean and modern looking. Owner very friendly and attentive.

My meal was the chicken xl, plenty for me and taste is good. Nice bit of grilled peppers on top. Ample fries and a nice mirander drink to go with it. Downside is only leg pieces of chicken only and the chicken could be more freshly cooked. Other than that the meal was plentiful and satisfying.

The other meals my fiends ordered the xl cheese burger was a very big disappointment. They said xl means everything bigger but sadly it was quiet small and flimsy. Didn't seem any bigger than the normal burger. Taste wasn't bad but overall average.

The 4 season pizza (cost 109 Dirhams) looked good, size was big and plenty of topping such as chicken and meat. The taste was actually quiet bland and boring.

Will come again for the chicken and because the owner is very friendly.

This was my favorite spot to eat during my last Moroccan visit but my last visit to this restaurant was definitely my last. I took a friend and I thought to impress him with this gem I found but everything about it was bad. The service for one, when my friend and I arrived we were the ONLY customers while the businesses on either side were full. After we sat and ordered we were never given water nor was the drink that was supposed to come with my meal ever delivered. More that 20 minutes went by and still no food I was motioning for the waiter to come to the table so I could inquire about the status of our orders and request water but he literally refused to come to the table. My friend's food came out but mine was another 10 minutes behind his again still no water, explanation or apology. When my chicken finally came out the accompanying fries were cold. They made me more fries and removed them from the bill but I had reached my limit...

Recently I fancied some kfc, but no kfc in Fes, so I found Chicken Spot I went there and ordered 4 meals for me and my friends. It was a disaster! The worst fried chicken I ever had. The chicken tasted terrible, this is because the oil in which they fry the Chicken was very very old, just like old burnt old engine oil. The breading was so tough like small stones, this is because they did not sieve the coating (breading of the Chicken). I was very disappointed and embarrassed because I invited my friends too. So please be careful before you buy make sure first. The staff were excellent but the management nil!!

Chichen Spot ذهبت إلى هناك وطلبت 4 وجبات لي ولأصدقائي. لقد كانت كارثة! أسوأ الدجاج المقلي على الإطلاق. كان طعم الدجاج فظيعًا، وذلك لأن الزيت الذي يقلى به الدجاج كان قديمًا جدًا، تمامًا مثل زيت المحرك القديم المحترق. كان الخبز قاسيًا جدًا مثل الحجارة الصغيرة، وذلك لأنهم لم ينخلوا الطلاء (خبز الدجاج). لقد شعرت بخيبة أمل وإحراج كبيرين لأنني دعوت أصدقائي أيضًا. لذا يرجى تاخذ الحذر قبل الشراء تأكد أولاً. فريق العمل كان ممتازا ولكن الإدارة سفر لا شيء!!
