We were a family of 5 adults and 3 children. We had lunch for the first time here this afternoon while we are in Fez Medina (Marocco, in August 2022).
We arrived around 14:00 pm and most tables are available for us. They have four floor. We stayed in the third floor. They offer terrace with great view of Fez Medina.
Pros: The location is easy to find in Fez by Google Maps. You can follow your Google Maps. If you are in the blue gate, you are close to this restaurant. They have great modern decorations. They have friendly and kind workers. The price of food is fair, and the portion is okay. We spent 440 dirham for 8 people. The tanjine chicken with lemon is very delicious. The Bolognese is delicious. They accept payment in cash. The restaurant is cozy and clean. Wearing a mask is not mandatory anymore. Free wifi accessible inside the restaurant. The restaurant has a big space with many tables. English speaking staff.
Cons: The staff forgot our other Bolognese. So, one of the kid ate the last. I ordered skewers and asked to replace potatoes with rice. Unfortunately, the rice...
Read moreWe were for lunch in the terrace. Was quite comfortable with nice view of the Medina and Blue Gate. We asked to the waitress for recommendations and she recommended us the Menu. They have 2 menus, one cost 859Dh (8'5€) and the other 950Dh (9'5€). As we were 2 we took one of each menu (each of them had fee dishes to choose) but the recommendation of the waitress help us to choose. We took an apple salad with avocado cheese and nuts and the other first dish was a rife salad with tuna and peppers. The second dishes where Tajine of chicken , pink olives and lemon and the other second dish was a patilla of chicken, nuts and couscous (sweet and salty) with sugar and cinnamon on the top. For me this pastella was simply delicious and we really appreciate the recommendation of the waitress, she was really sympathic. For desserts we booth took a typical desert from fez made of crunchy pancakes with home made cream and cinnamon. We drunk a bottle of water and they invited us for the Moroccan tea. All bill was 190Dh (19€). Completely worth it because of...
Read moreThe usual guy with menu approached us on the street. We weren't expecting much, BUT we were met with a charming, pretty waitress who spoke perfect English. Myself and my girlfriend chose a 100drh set menu, which, whilst there were 60drh and 80drh options, my partner and I shared the 100 drh menu between us. We had, along with the usual bread, olives, and spicy dip, three different warm cooked salads, a tasty soup, a cold cous cous salad, a huge chicken pastilla, and 4 mini pastries afterwards. Our waitress described each dish with impeccable English. The quality of each dish was fantastic! With a large sparkling water, it was just 120 drh for both of us, with sunset views over Fes included! Highly...
