We had an amazing dinner at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, very tasty. We started with the Harira soup, that I highly recommend. Then I took the lamb tajine, the meat was super tender and flavourful. The rest of the family opted for a vegetable couscous which was plentiful, with fresh, well-cooked vegetables, the accompanying sauce was also excellent. And then a chicken couscous with tfaya, likewise tasty The location added to the experience, with a beautiful terrace offering stunning views of the city. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing evening. The staff were young and friendly, and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a perfect meal in a lovely setting.

Seriously? This pasta was a joke, very disappointed. We complained about the quality of the pasta that was made with store bought manufactured sauce with cheap spaghetti noodles (unpleasant wheat noodle smell); and charging 60 is too much. However, after we complained, they didn't charge us for the pasta. I had to go to another restaurant to eat.. time consuming and was really shocked by the pasta overall- plating, no veggies, hardly any sauce on the noodles, and manufactured sauce from can, and flour smelly pasta. :( Hopefully, they can learn from this and change the recipete something worth for money.. The view was alright, and the lamb tagine my husband ordered was OK, but nothing special.

We arrived late in Fes, were hungry and randomly picked this restaurant in the main street Talaa Kebira. We were attracted by the little ally decorated with a line of bamboo pendant lights. The waiter was so welcoming and friendly, he suggested us to sit on the rooftop where can see the medina view. We wanted to try some authentic Moroccan food on arrival, so we went with the lamb tagine and chicken tagine. The food didn't disappoint us. It was very delicious, the flavours and spices were just right. The waiter said all the food are prepared by owner's mother, we were surprised and appreciate it! Also, the price is very reasonable. If you love homemade food, I highly recommend this place.

At the top of the flights of stairs you will find a serene and enchanting multi level restaurant. We came for a late lunch around 3pm. The server spoke English which was helpful as our Arabic is limited. Service was fast too. Ordered the Moroccan salad, vegetable cous cous and a tagine. Delicious! I should have taken a photo of the empty plates. The salad was fresh, the tagine was full of flavour! As always, mint tea to wash it down. Sitting at the very top, you can appreciate the skyline of the city and see ruins in the distance. Great spot! Keep in mind, it is cash only and if you do not have great mobility- this may be hard for you to climb the stairs!

Honestly, we haven’t been at this good rated restaurant it seems to be on google. And definitely, our food was different from there pictures there too. We had a pastilla that we got to know in ages as something crispy with sweet and salty flavors: here it was a humid crepes thing with a mix of vegetables and limited spices at most. The vegetable tagine was probably one carrot and a few slices of potato - no zucchini or anything else. Very poor. And most importantly, it just didn’t taste that good. Maybe that we were the only ones should have made as questioning to eat there. Disappointing.

Very nice food (vegetarian options available) for a good price, with friendly service and a good view on the terrace. Vegetable pastilla was very good, along with a tasty thick harira soup and fresh Moroccan salad. I really appreciate that the owner does not try to sell you anything or book tours, just friendly conversation. We felt very welcome. The only complaint I have is that stairs to the terrace are quite steep - But it is worth it to get up to the cosy ambiance of the terrace.
