PERFECT SHOW DINNER
We came for a dinner show. I eaten a Asian menu and my friend pasta. Amazin food. Amazing show.
Price are really correct when you count show dinner and the location and the welcome manager is really professional.
Service food was a bit slow to received but who care, the show was amazing and we was living a unic moment so food is not primary. If you are looking for a really good high quality show this is the place.
About the show: Best show in Marrakech and in Morocco I could say. A mix of oriental and occidental, a fairy moment. The band is brilliant, singers are amazing, the Spanish singer dancer encroyable and the opera singer wow. All musicians are fantastic. A high five for the Moroccan lady singer, she is the one that is most ok stage and her voice wow. What to say from when you enter in this place to the end is 1000% magic. I could say this s the mulin rouge of Morocco.
About food: Pasta with truffle was delicious, well cook and sauce was just so creamy and tasty. Asian menu was really good, big portion and taste so Asian. Actually i will be back for that asian menu, instead the dessert from Asian menu nothing special, so would be better maybe review it and update that dessert as is not Asian at all... maybe a simple Asian motchi or a jasmin tea cup with a Asian sweet?
About beverage: If you are pregnant or alcohol free or cacher drinker is hard to chose between sparkling water, flat water or a coke. No alcohol drinks are not in the menu and I really reccomend to add alcohol free beers and alcohol free wines and alcohol free champagne as could be amazing option for who no dink and have also a good option instead of take only water, and also has a bigger choice as a good free alcool beer or wine can cost same or even more the a alcohol beer in Morocco.
About service: The was 2 maids for our table, one amazing that unfortubatly i just saw for entrance and when i payed at the bar at the end with my credit card and the second one (a total disaster) that was not good at all as he treated me really bad cause i asked if there was a free alcohol beer with his mouth as i was a professional of the night in Arabic language (yes I am a foreigner but I understand arabic) but at the end of the evening when the manager and I we talked next to the bar I really forget that bad service situation, I explained him that for me I could even pay a bottle no problem for me but I don't drink alcohol and as he was so gentle i forget that bad little expirience and as all was perfect I will give 5 star by the way, but i hope they will fired those elements that have no professionals way to approach a customer.

Read moreDuring a recent visit to Marrakesh, my wife and I were turned away from our confirmed table booking at Palais Jad Mahal due to me wearing smart chino shorts. This came as a complete surprise, as there was no mention of a dress code when booking via WhatsApp, and their website is only available in French — unhelpful for international visitors seeking clear information.
The situation was made worse by the behaviour of the security staff, who were rude, unapologetic, and unnecessarily intimidating. Over five visits to Marrakesh, I’ve dined at many of the city’s top establishments, all of which accepted smart, tailored shorts without issue.
What’s more concerning is that I couldn’t help but feel I was being judged and possibly discriminated against due to my visible tattoos.
For a venue that markets itself as upscale and cosmopolitan, the lack of professionalism and inclusivity is disappointing. Clear communication, respectful staff, and fair treatment of all guests should be the minimum standard — unfortunately, Palais Jad Mahal fell far short.
Disappointing Experience Undermined by Poor Communication and Questionable Conduct
On a recent trip to Marrakesh, my wife and I were refused entry to our confirmed reservation at Palais Jad Mahal — solely because I was wearing smart chino shorts. Despite the restaurant’s upscale positioning, this policy was neither communicated during our WhatsApp booking nor clearly outlined on their website, which is only available in French and inaccessible to many international guests.
While dress codes are within a venue’s right to enforce, the manner in which this situation was handled was deeply unprofessional. The security personnel were not only dismissive but also unnecessarily rude and intimidating, creating an atmosphere entirely at odds with the refinement the restaurant claims to offer.
Having visited Marrakesh on five separate occasions and dined at many of its most reputable establishments — all of which welcomed smart, tailored attire — this experience felt not only inconsistent with local standards, but also uncomfortably personal. With visible tattoos, I was left with the impression that there may have been an element of bias or discrimination involved, which is both unacceptable and disheartening.
Palais Jad Mahal may present a glamorous façade, but in our experience, it lacked the basic hospitality, professionalism, and inclusivity that almost all other restaurants in Marrakesh offer.

Read moreAbsolutely horrible experience. We decided to go to Jad Mahal for my friends birthday dinner. It turned out to be a Nightmare. The restaurant is stunning, but the service, food and belly dancers are poor. This was our last night and we were aware this was an expensive restaurant so we saved 300-400 DH each in order to eat here. We all ordered only a main each as they were priced between 250DH-300DH. We then asked how much it would cost for a birthday cake for our friend. The waiter told us they have an anniversary cake for 150DH. We said fantastic we will take it. They then bring out a cake, after my friend blew it out they took it away and brought out 4 small slices for each of us. We then receive the bill, we couldn't work out how but the bill had come to 1840DH which was a lot more than what we ordered. Turns out they charged 600DH for the cake - almost £50 for 4 slices, roughly £12.50 per slice. We called the waiter and asked what happened. He said I told you the cake was 150DH. They did not say each nor did we even ask for 4. The manager came over and started shouting at my friend and said we must pay as we ate the cake. He then had the staff and security surround our table to intimidate us. Having heard about instances abroad where people are arrested or attacked , we feared for our safety. We were forced to pay for something we had not agreed to pay for. We then left, and the manager followed us out and continuing to shout at us, and told all the taxi drivers not to take us. We were robbed and intimidated. I have never feared for my safety or been treated in such away at restaurant before in my life. They should be closed. The manager should be sacked and cautioned. I Do not recommend anyone risk their well-being by going to this restaurant. I have attached a photo of the...
