"I recently celebrated a birthday at Clandestino, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of our expectations . We booked a table for 18 people and we were given a table of 11 and were asked to "adjust".Despite waiting for over an hour, the management did not adequately address the seating issue." 18 of us had to squeeze and adjust in a table which was for 11 people. The manager, a lady called Ikram who dealt with the booking etc promised the world and delivered far less. She was really rude, unprofessional and lied to our faces. Promises made during the booking, such as not charging for kids' meals, were not honoured. We felt misled and disappointed." We were made to pay over £30 for 2 plates of pastas for 2 kids who were 2 and 4 year olds when she said she would not charge us for it because we were spending so much money and she said as its a kids meal they will not charge us anything. We were told to order drinks for at least 900 dirhams but we spend over 2500 dirhams on drinks and over 6500 dhirams on food and were really disappointed.. So what we ordered and what was given was very different. The starters were ok. The slow-cooked lamb shank was undercooked and rubbery, not resembling a shank at all. The chicken tagine was raw and chewy, leading to several guests choosing not to eat it.". Additionally, six guests did not receive desserts despite the bill being settled in full."
We were shocked and appalled that the restaurant wanted to charge us to play Happy Birthday!!! which again was not mentioned at the time of making the booking. But I have never heard of anyone wanting to charge to play Happy Birthday!!! Cheated and lied to again . If they could they would charge us if we asked for spare plates. Felt really cheated , lied to and dissappointed. Please do not go here in a group as Ikram will lie to you when making the booking but will change and start adding terms and conditions the moment you pay a deposit. Avoid this place at all costs. Overpriced food and drinks and bad management. "In conclusion, Clandestino fell short on multiple fronts, from service to food quality and billing practices. I would caution others against choosing this restaurant for special occasions. There are many better options nearby that provide better service and...

I had an absolutely fantastic experience in Marrakesh! From the moment we walked in, the warm and vibrant atmosphere transported us straight to Mexico. The décor is colorful and authentic, creating the perfect setting for an unforgettable meal.
The food was outstanding—every dish was bursting with rich, fresh flavors. The tacos were perfectly seasoned, the guacamole was fresh and creamy, and the enchiladas were simply divine. Their homemade salsas added the perfect kick to each bite!
The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. The margaritas were some of the best I’ve ever had—refreshing, well-balanced, and expertly crafted.
If you’re in Marrakesh and craving delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine, this place is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended! Will definitely be coming...
Read moreI went there on a Saturday night, the place looks good, music was good but food was really bad. I had a chicken pastela which was sweet but edible in main course I had lamb shank, which was not lamb nor a shank. It was very tuff mutton pice, which was I’ve left after one bite. Paid £27 for that. Service was ok but they wanted to charge for everything. Cutting birthday cake 350 dh, singing happy birthday song 300 DH. Overall a very bad experience, definitely advise to avoid this place at all cost. There are much better places in Marrakech which don’t do these petty things and food is much better than...
