Walking into this place felt like stepping into a scene from a surreal comedy, equal parts chaos and charm. Let me paint the picture.
First, the waiters. There were at least twelve of them, all equally confused yet determined, like a team of well-meaning but highly disorganised magicians. Each time we asked for something, a different waiter appeared, nodded solemnly, then vanished into the abyss, never to be seen again.
The food? Well, let’s just say it was fine. Or maybe it was the complimentary wine that clouded my judgment—either way, acid reflux became an unexpected dinner guest. The true mystery of the night, however, was the cutlery situation. We were given exactly one set each, which we dutifully used for every course. Meanwhile, an entire battalion of waiters buzzed around, ensuring no spoon was ever replaced but every sip of wine was topped up. Priorities, I suppose.
Now, the entertainment. Belly dancing and live music added to the wild energy of the place, though our table was tucked away in a side room. The decor was lovely, but every time the door to the main action swung open, some invisible force (or possibly one of our twelve waiters) would swoop in to shut it again. After some time, curiosity got the better of me, and I politely asked if we could leave it open. The waiter hesitated, looking genuinely conflicted, then nodded as if I had just asked for a state secret to be revealed. Still not sure why we were being quarantined, but it added to the mystery of the night.
In summary: a bizarre, entertaining, and slightly baffling experience. Would I go again? Probably. But I’d bring my own cutlery,...

Our order was taken by three different people, with repeated interruptions, and it took 50 minutes before food finally arrived—only after we asked. Two dishes were wrong and replaced within a few minutes, but the overall impression remained disorganized. On top of this, the tea service was inconvenient, as I had to request a refill every single time since no carafe was placed on the table. When it came to the bill, splitting between parties was not possible, forcing us to calculate ourselves. The bill was also incorrect, listing the wrong (more expensive) dishes. Even after pointing this out, the manager argued it was fine because “9 meals for 9 people” were served. Paying by card led to another mistake on the invoice. Service: 0 Friendliness: 3 Environment: 3 In short, while the atmosphere is charming, the chaotic service, billing issues, and lack of attention to detail make it difficult to recommend Dar Marjana as...

Im in awe by the art, design and architect of this fine establishment.
Wear your good clothes here because you are in for a treat.
We probably had one of our best nights here snd we didn’t even get to experience the rooftop.
The dining experience was one for the books. The staff were welcoming, professional, and very communicative. They insisted on creating a wonderful experience whether it was pouring tea or serving wine. Everything was excellent.
We ate so much! The food was delicious. The lamb was so good, I could lick my plate.
We danced, laughed and celebrated like it was new years. Honestly the experience felt like fire works, one big surprise after another.
Thank you so much for our time here and I would highly recommend this place and I can’t...
