Nestled amidst the bustling streets of Marrakesh lies a culinary gem that promises not only exceptional hospitality but also a journey through the vibrant flavors of Moroccan cuisine.
La fontaine is aptly named for its tranquil ambiance and impeccable service, offers an unforgettable dining experience that combines tradition with innovation.
From the moment you step foot in, you're greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. Saloua herself, a masterful chef and gracious host, sets the tone for the entire dining experience. Her infectious personality and passion for food shine through in every interaction, making guests feel like cherished friends rather than mere patrons.
One of the highlights of dining is the breathtaking rooftop panoramic views of Marrakesh. Whether you're dining during the golden hues of sunset or under the starlit sky, the vistas from the rooftop terrace are simply mesmerizing, providing the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable meal.
But it's not just the views that steal the show; it's the food that truly captivates the senses. Saloua's chicken tagine, a signature dish that perfectly embodies the rich flavors of Moroccan cuisine, is a culinary masterpiece. Tender pieces of chicken are slow-cooked to perfection with an aromatic blend of spices, preserved lemons, and olives, resulting in a dish that is both comforting and exotic.
What truly sets La Fontaine apart, however, is the impeccable service. Every member of the staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in ensuring that guests have an exceptional dining experience(Abdo is one of them) . From the moment you're seated to the final farewell, you're made to feel like royalty, with every need anticipated and catered to with grace and efficiency.
In a city known for its culinary prowess, this stands out as a shining example of excellence. With its exceptional hospitality, stunning rooftop views, and unforgettable dishes crafted with love and expertise by Chef Saloua herself, it's a dining destination that will leave you enchanted and eager to return time...

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Marrakesh, La Fontaine des Épices offers a delightful fusion of traditional Moroccan cuisine and international flavors. My recent dining experience at this charming restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary, leaving me eager to return.
The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the Tajine with beef, plums, and apricots. Prepared to perfection, the rich and aromatic spices melded seamlessly with the tender beef and sweet, succulent fruits, creating a dish that was both comforting and exquisite. Each bite transported me to the bustling souks and serene landscapes of Morocco, a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to authenticity.
Equally impressive was their burger, a surprising addition to the menu that did not disappoint. Juicy, flavorful, and impeccably cooked, it stood out as one of the best burgers I've had. The blend of spices and high-quality ingredients gave it a unique twist that set it apart from the usual fare.
The ambiance of La Fontaine des Épices adds to the overall experience, with its warm decor and inviting atmosphere making it an ideal spot for both intimate dinners and lively gatherings. However, what truly made my visit exceptional was the outstanding service provided by our waiter, Bashir. His attentive and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home, and his recommendations were spot on. Bashir's dedication to ensuring a memorable dining experience was evident in every interaction, and his warm hospitality added a personal touch that elevated our evening. A big thanks to Bashir for his exceptional service; he truly made our...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant with high expectations, but the experience was nothing short of disappointing. To start, we waited 1.5 hours for our food, and during the first hour, no one bothered to bring us water or any of the drinks we ordered. It’s unacceptable to leave customers at the table without any beverages for such a long time, especially in a place that tries to portray a high-end dining experience.
The waitstaff acted as if they were serving in a 3 Michelin star restaurant, but the reality was far from it. They didn’t take notes when we ordered, which led to them forgetting what we asked for and causing unnecessary confusion. Their strategy of bringing all the food and drinks at once is fundamentally flawed. The result? An unnecessarily long wait without even a piece of bread, a drop of olive oil, or a few olives to ease the hunger before the main courses arrived.
To make matters worse, they didn’t serve appetizers or salads first – which are usually quick to prepare – leaving us to wait endlessly for everything at once. At the end of this frustrating experience, they even mixed up our check with another table’s bill.
Overall, this restaurant clearly lacks the basics of good service, and their poor organization and attitude made for a truly disappointing evening. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting decent service or a pleasant...
