A very colorful and stylish place in the medina. The staff was welcoming and served us quickly. The food was beautifully presented and well-decorated. Unfortunately, the taste didn’t match the appearance.

We ordered a shared plate (200Dh) for two, but it was served without any explanation of what the dishes were or how to consume them. A very small glass of soup was included, but it came without a spoon or any instructions on how to eat it. The dips were served without any additional bread. The waiter was absent until we finished, so we couldn’t ask about the food or the missing spoons.

The avocado bread was good, but everything else was bland, which was quite disappointing — even the bissara was cold.

An additional (personal) no-go: Every dish had some coriander in it or on top, which might be quite annoying since there are many people who don’t like the taste...

The food here was amazing, fresh and all vegetarian menu. We came here after a recommendation from someone in our riad and it did not disappoint! We had the share platter as we could not decide what to have and so glad we did! Everything on the platter was full of flavour. The platter was a generous portion per person. We also had the lemonade pitcher and it was so refreshing, the best lemonade I have tasted. We enjoyed the atmosphere here so much we came back the next day to have lemonade and relax on the swings and in the library out of the heat. We stayed for lunch and once again the food was spectacular. Staff are very friendly and welcoming into the relaxed calm atmosphere, not pushy and service is quick, a welcome change of pace from the busy streets and markets. I really had a lovely time at this cafe and would...

Pikala Café is simply outstanding! From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The service is genuinely attentive, friendly, and fast – you can tell they truly care about creating a great experience.

And the food? Wow. The bowls are an absolute dream – fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Whether you’re into healthy eats or just looking for something delicious and satisfying, Pikala hits the mark perfectly.

The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish, with a cool, local vibe that makes it ideal for a peaceful lunch or a laid-back coffee break. We loved everything about it – the service, the food, the vibe. A perfect 10/10!

Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be...

The atmosphere at this cafe is warm and inviting, complemented by the friendly and attentive staff who always have a smile on their faces. The service is impeccable, and the staff's genuine kindness and enthusiasm add to the positive vibe of the place.Playing ping pong at the cafe was a fun and unexpected addition to our visit, and the food was another highlight. Although we arrived too early to try the tart of the day, the cafe surprised us with a lovely gesture: a selection of complimentary Moroccan sweets, which were absolutely delicious.Overall, this cafe is a perfect blend of excellent service, delicious food, and a pleasant atmosphere. It was a memorable visit, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great cafe experience.

For our last few hours in Marrakech my husband and I just wanted a light but healthy meal. We discovered a place called Pikala Cafe. This was exactly what I had in mind to eat. It’s a vegan restaurant with a varied menu. They have things like breakfast to vegan burgers and fries (which we didn’t try-this time) to a variety of smoothies, coffees and desserts. We both ordered from the breakfast menu. I had a croissant, avocado, egg, and salad plate. DELICIOUS! My husband had a Pikala bowl and that was just as delicious as well. We both had a beetroot, apple and ginger beverage and a fresh squeezed orange juice. We come to Morocco once a year and this place here in Marrakech will be on we keep on our itinerary. CHECK IT OUT!!!
